★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great Italian wine selection at good prices. The pastas were great, but don’t go if you expect volume. Here it’s quality, not quantity. Wonderful desserts. Very pleasant service. Weird: they “open their doors” at 5:00pm, but won’t serve you until 5:30pm.

We had very bad service with no one approaching us for 15 minutes so we got the main dishes before even having the chance to order drinks...
Moreover, wheb receiving the bill, we were charged for the bread (appetizer) which we never received!
Bad service overall. We spent over 70 € for just a bad experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Atmosphere is great, the waitress was very welcoming and pleasant, and food is also nice overall, but the fish wasn't properly cleaned, which ruined the dish for us. The side dishes were also less to our taste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing variety of Mediterranean dishes. Authentic mixuture and great experimentation with the sea food, pasta and other exotic ingredients. A classy and posh place for special events and soirees. A great meal worth the bit expensive amounts to pay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very small portions so prices are quite high for what you get. We got the beef carpaccio with truffles, grilled squid with truffles, scallops in lemon butter sauce, tagliatelle with truffles, butter & parmesan, and tiramisu. Nothing stood out. Friendly service though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered the fish and sea food carpaccio. Very disappointing as it looked like sea food in an ice bath. Carpaccio does look different!! Not worth 22 euros.
Waiters were mostly friendly but I have not been asked once if I liked the food nor if I would want to order another drink when mine was finished.
2 stars because I heard good things about Il Convento, could be that I was unlucky
