Das Haus hat uns mit seinem besonderen Charme, der herzlichen Gastfreundschaft, dem zuvorkommenden freundlichen Service und vor allem der exzellenten Küche beim Abendessen überzeugt. Das Hotel lebt mit seinen Räumen, Zimmern und besonders dem Restaurant die Tradition des Hauses. Die seit kurzem neuen Eigentümer wollen das Hotel weiter modernisieren ohne den Charme des Hauses zu verlieren. Wir sehen dem nächsten Urlaub im Hotel Waldrose mit Spannung und Vorfreunde auf die kulinarischen Highlights entgegen. A house to feel good with excellent cuisine We stayed at the Hotel Waldrose for the first time at the beginning of 2022 for our skiing holiday. The house has convinced us with its special charm, the warm hospitality, the courteous friendly service and above all the excellent cuisine at dinner. The hotel lives with its rooms, rooms and especially the restaurant the tradition of the house. The recently new owners want to further modernize the hotel without losing the charm of the house. We are looking forward to our next vacation at the Hotel Waldrose with excitement and looking forward to the culinary highlights.

The hotel is close to the "Wildkogelbahn" (5 min by car) So, this hotel is perfect for skiing holiday but also for walking holiday. You can start walking from the hotel. Enough parking places available and breakfast is great. We will come back for sure!

The owner is a chef and served a delicious meal. Price-quality is good! It was nice that we could eat something different than schnitzel. We had a lovely stay!
k	k.schuhmann on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We (a family of four) stayed at the Gästehaus Waldrose for just one night, but everything was perfect, even though the owners had just moved here from another country and had only been in Austria for one and a half months. We came there at 9 pm without any reservation, but we still got two rooms with two beds each. The owners were very forthcoming, and the hotel has a very private touch to it. We were asked when we wanted to have breakfast - at first we didn't understand why because normally there are fixed breakfast times, but the next day we understood: apart from the normal buffet you get everywhere plus still warm Irish bread (which was very good!), the owners also cooked croissant with scrambled eggs, smoked salmon or bacon and a sprinkle of cheese for us. For everyone who doesn't know (like we did), this is in Irish dish, and it tastes absolutely gorgeous, so try it out when you are there. We soon got into a friendly conversation with the owners, and I think we'll all remember them fondly. The only disadvantage of the hotel is that it's right beside the major street of the region, but since that's not the owners' fault and they said they would put in new windows to better insulate against the sound, everything's perfect. So, to all travellers, I can absolutely recommend staying there, and to the owners, my family and I say thank you for the nice time you provided us with! When we are in the region again, we'll certainly return, if possible! :)
