Our family came in one Monday around 19:30 looking for a place for dinner. The place looked full but no one was waiting to be seated. We politely asked about a table for 4 and the stressed-out waitress just barked "Nein!" and rushed off. We won't be back. By the way two other restaurants in Rauris provided excellent food and service.

We had half-board, food was heavy (pork for every dinner) and overcooked sometines, breakfast good. Cleanliness, location and personal are superb here.

However, on a recent trip into Austria, along our journey I had to make an emergency bathroom stop and this was the first available location. Upon entering the building, everything looked beautiful and welcoming. Hotel staff showed me the location of the restroom and I conducted my business. The restrooms were very clean. I thanked the staff and was on my way. So in my experience... 5 stars. Would recommend.
A	Andy Holding on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Having visited Rauris on many occasions up until now we’ve never tried the Hotel Platzwirt restaurant, but after this visit we will definitely be visiting more in the future, as the staff are fantastic & the food is delicious with huge portions too. I opted for the four course set menu which at the time of writing was €18 My wife opted for a Wiener schnitzel which was the biggest portion I have ever seen anywhere. It was absolutely huge. Drinks prices are very reasonable, with 25cl of white wine at €3.80 & beer at €3.80 for 50cl, small soft drinks were €2.30 The salad buffet was lovely but due to the size of our portions we didn’t need much. The restaurant itself was very clean, spacious & decorated very tastefully. 10/10 in every area & well worth a visit.

Don't be put off by the menu outside, just tell them and as they cook everything fresh they will were ever possible use only glutton free ingredients. Very good value too.

And the second they found out they brought me delicious gluten free food! Like everyone else! They knew about the separation of the food and made the food without any contamination! The facility was clean and comfortable and they solved any problem we had! I highly recommend to go with your family, friends and partner! Enjoy your stay!

We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant - tasty food with some regional dishes. Lovely surroundings of Rauris village and numerous historical buildings to discover! We might be back for winter skiing.
