Der idyllische, außerhalb der Saison etwas verträumte Ort, die freundlichen, ehrlichen Einheimischen, perfekte Gastronomie. I've been here several times. Always fascinating. The idyllic, off-season somewhat dreamy place, the friendly, honest locals, perfect gastronomy.
D	Dagmar Hammer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir waren mit Kindern und Enkeln über Silvester 2 Wochen in Rauris. Das skigebiet ist klein und familiär und nicht überlaufen in einer tollen bergwelt. Die einstündige Mittagspause bei der skischule führte allerdings oft zu Streß, da die Schlangen bei Hütten und Imbiss sehr lang waren und die Zeit zum Essen knapp war. Besonders schwierig war es, wenn ein Kind unten an der Talstation Kurs hatte und der andere oben bei der bergstation.. Für uns als Großeltern blieb wenig Zeit für eigene winterwanderungen,zumal der tälerbus nur selten fuhr und am Wochenende gar nicht! Die winterwanderwege, die wir machen konnten, waren in einem sehr schlechten Zustand und nicht geräumt! Im seidlwinkeltal sind wir auf der Straße gelaufen. Der Weg zum lechnerhausl war ein trampelpfad im tiefschnee, wir hatten Mühe, rechtzeitig den Bus zu erreichen. Da kann man einiges besser machen! Trotzdem, es war eine tolle Zeit! We spent 2 weeks in Rauris with children and grandchildren over New Year's Eve. The ski area is small and familiar and not overcrowded in a great mountain world. However, the one-hour lunch break at the ski school often led to stress, as the queues at the huts and snack bars were very long and there was little time to eat. It was particularly difficult when one child was on a course down at the valley station and the other up at the mountain station. For us as grandparents there was little time for our own winter hikes, especially since the valley bus rarely ran and not at the weekend! The winter hiking trails that we were able to do were in very poor condition and not cleared! In the seidlwinkeltal we walked on the street. The way to the lechnerhausl was a beaten path in deep snow, we had trouble catching the bus in time. There's a lot that can be done better! Nonetheless, it was a great time!
