Ich hatte per Hy das Zimmer gebucht und die Rufnummeranzeige ist nicht unterdrückt. Daher hätten Sie durchaus zurückrufen können. Zu einem 3 Sterne-Haus gehört nach der Klassifizierung eine „14 Stunden besetzte separate Rezeption“. Diese halten Sie nach eigenen Angaben nicht vor. Und nicht nur deshalb haben Sie die 3 Sterne nicht „verdient“. Dementsprechend ist der Preis von 2x 59 = 118 Eur für ein Doppelzimmer auch nicht gerechtfertigt! Short addendum: You are not at a loss for excuses. You did not ask for proof of vaccination either on the phone or via WhatsApp. I had booked the room via Hy and the number display is not suppressed. So you could have called back. According to the classification, a “14-hour separate reception” belongs to a 3-star hotel. According to your own information, you do not have these available. And that's not the only reason why you didn't “deserve” the 3 stars. Accordingly, the price of 2x 59 = 118 Eur for a double room is not justified either!
H	Helmut Huber on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wenn dieses Hotel ein Auto wäre, wäre es sicher ein Trabant oder vielleicht sogar ein Wartburg. Irgendwie war alles da - aber nur so halb. Da war eine Rezeption - nur vormittags besetzt, allerdings nicht jeden Tag. Da waren Zimmer mit Kochgelegenheit - aber kaum Geschirr. Da waren Möbel - allerdings nicht immer für den Hotelbetrieb geeignet wie etwa unser Bett, das nur wenig höher als eine Luftmatratze war. Dafür hatte es einen sehr harten Rahmen, der sich gut einprägte. Da war ein Frühstücksbüffet - geringe Auswahl und Eier bitte selbst kochen. Da gab es ein Badezimmer mit Dusche - aber kaum ausreichend Wasserdruck. Dafür eine Heizung, die sich nicht abstellen lässt. Da wurde täglich geputzt - aber richtig sauber war es trotzdem nicht. Da wurde eine Halbpension angeboten - Essen bitte zwei Häuser weiter (Gasthof zur Post, gute Küche und freundliches Team). Das Hotel ist eindeutig ein Hundehotel mit Schlafgelegenheit für die Hundehalter. Aber auch hier gilt: Es ist alles da - aber nicht so richtig. If this hotel were a car, it would surely be a Trabant or maybe even a Wartburg. Somehow everything was there - but only halfway. There was a reception - only mornings, but not every day. There were rooms with cooking facilities - but hardly any dishes. There was furniture - albeit not always suitable for hotel operations, such as our bed, which was only slightly higher than an air mattress. But it had a very hard framework that was easy to remember. There was a breakfast buffet - small selection and please cook your own eggs. There was a bathroom with a shower - but hardly enough water pressure. Instead, a heater that cannot be turned off. It was cleaned every day - but it was still not really clean. Half board was offered - please eat two doors down (Gasthof zur Post, good cuisine and a friendly team). The hotel is clearly a dog hotel with sleeping accommodation for the dog owners. But the same applies here: Everything is there - but not really right.
K	Katharina Graber on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nach einer gefühlten Ewigkeit wieder Urlaub zu machen hat uns sehr gut getan. Da wir kurz nach dem Lockdown in der Pension nächtigten war dementsprechend wenig los. Wir wurden herzlich willkommen geheißen, der Check-In funktionierte auch ohne Empfangdame tadellos. Für unseren Hund war ein Bettchen, Schüssel und ein Willkommenpaket bereit gelegt. Das Frühstück war für ein 3-Haus entsprechend. Alles neu renoviert. Trotzdem wurde der Charme dieses alten Hauses erhalten. Toller Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer auf die Berge. Auch wenn die Rezeption nicht besetzt war, konnten wir jeder Zeit die Dame des Hauses kontaktieren. Die Sauna war für den verregneten Tag ein großer Pluspunkt. Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt im Gasteinertal und für Hundeeltern sehr empfehlenswert. Going back on vacation after what felt like an eternity has done us very good. As we stayed in the guesthouse shortly after the lockdown, there was not much going on. We were given a warm welcome, the check-in worked perfectly even without a receptionist. A bed, a bowl and a welcome pack were provided for our dog. The breakfast was for a 3 house accordingly. Everything newly renovated. Even so, the charm of this old house has been preserved. Great view from our room of the mountains. Even if the reception was not manned, we could contact the lady of the house at any time. The sauna was a big plus for the rainy day. All in all a great stay in the Gastein Valley and highly recommended for dog parents.
P	Patricia Jaritz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir haben hier als Paar ein verlängertes Wochenende verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und liebevoll umsorgt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr schnuckelig und gemütlich gestaltet. Die Lage des Hotels eignet sich ganz wunderbar zum Laufen und Wandern. Wir kommen gerne wieder. We spent a long weekend here as a couple and felt very comfortable. We were warmly welcomed and lovingly cared for. The accommodation is very cute and cozy. The location of the hotel is ideal for running and hiking. We would love to come back.

H	Holly Stephens on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the loft apartment for 4 adults and 2 children. One bed was relatively comfy, the sofa bed in the second room however was absolutely terrible. It was broken, awfully uncomfortable, on many different angles and very very short - at 5ft2 I was too tall for it. The shower was unreliable and would frequently go burning hot when anyone in the entire building turned on their water. Our children would complain of getting burned and would have to jump out of the shower regularly until it cooled down again. Many things in the kitchen were broken, chairs were broken etc etc etc I was very disappointed with this accommodation. On the upside Bad Gastein and Bockstein are absolutely beautiful and the skiing fantastic.
