Hier kommt man besser aus wenn man die Regel ignoriert und sich dumm macht. Rasist student dormitory of foreigners who keep to the rules in the dirt. Here you get along better if you ignore the rule and make yourself stupid.
S	Stefanie H. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ + Perfekte Lage in Nähe zu zahlreichen Unis, Instituten (2 Stationen zur Hauptuni), USI (Sportinstitut) gleich gegenüber und dennoch ruhig, da in Seitengasse + sehr nette und organisierte Heimverwaltung (kümmern sich rasch um Beschwerden) + überwiegend Einzelzimmer in WG-Einheiten mit toller Einrichtung + Gemeinschaftsküchen, Partyraum, Fahrradraum, Waschküche, Fitnessraum + Perfect location close to numerous universities, institutes (2 stations to the main university), USI (sports institute) right across the street and yet quiet because it is in a side street + very nice and organized home management (deal with complaints quickly) + mostly single rooms in shared apartments with great furnishings + Communal kitchens, party room, bike room, laundry room, fitness room
M	Markus on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zimmer sind ok, allerdings sind die Gemeinschaftsküchen immer extrem dreckig. Weiters lässt die Verwaltung auch einiges zu wünschen übrig. Darüber hinaus sind die Vertragsdetails sehr nachteilig im Vergleich zu anderen Heimen (z.B. zum Teil sehr lange Kündigungsfrist). EDIT: Die persönlich angriffige Antwort sollte das Gesagte wohl weiter untermauern. Rooms are ok, but the communal kitchens are always extremely dirty. The administration also leaves a lot to be desired. In addition, the contract details are very disadvantageous compared to other homes (e.g. sometimes very long notice periods). EDIT: The personally attacking answer should probably underpin what has been said.
R	Revezd on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wände so dünn ich kann meine* Mitbewohnerin atmen hören. EDIT: Scheinbar sind die Büros im Gebäude besser isoliert als die Bewohnerinnen Zimmer. War ja klar ? Walls so thin I can hear my roommates breathing. EDIT: Apparently the offices in the building are better insulated than the residents' rooms. It was clear ?
S	Samira Hawibergern on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leider war mein Zimmer im Sommer so heiß, dass ich in der Nacht kaum schlafen konnte (manchmal in der Nacht 29°C). Das Fenster in der Nacht zu öffnen, war keine gute Idee, da auf dem Platz draußen oft Leute versammelt waren und laut lachten und herumschrieen. Die Zimmertüren sind absolut nicht schalldicht. Man hörte es sehr laut, wenn die Mitbewohnerinnen in der Nacht das Bad oder die Toilette benutzten oder am Gang in der WG an meinem Zimmer vorbeigingen. Ansonsten war das Heim in Ordnung. Im Winter war es immer schön warm. Ich würde es nur Personen empfehlen, die einen tiefen Schlaf haben und die durch Geräusche nicht aufgeweckt werden und denen hohe Temperaturen nichts ausmachen. Unfortunately, my room was so hot in summer that I could hardly sleep at night (sometimes 29°C at night). Opening the window at night was not a good idea as the square outside was often full of people laughing and shouting loudly. The room doors are not soundproof at all. You could hear it very loudly when the roommates used the bathroom or toilet at night or walked past my room in the hallway of the flat share. Otherwise the home was fine. In winter it was always nice and warm. I would only recommend it to people who are heavy sleepers and don't get woken up by noise and don't mind high temperatures.

Thats why even it looks close to center i would not day that it has a good location. Inside of bulding is clean and rooms are nice. If you are not studying in Uni Wien , i would not recommend you here guys, there is cheaper dormitorys with better location and also same life standarts
R	Ricarda Marko on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So, first of all I got to say that I really like this dorm and it's a lot better than the last one I've been to. The registration was simple and I quickly got a room (even tho I refused the first offer). Staff has always been nice to me. Since I've read the other comments here I want to add; I can barely hear my roommate at all if she is in her room. The walls to the toilet/bath are quite thin, thats true, but the walls seperating the rooms are fine. Whoever sais this isn't a good location ... I mean... you have several trams here from 5, 33, 38, 41,... I dont even want to list them all and the U6 and U2 are within walking distance, unless you are simply put, very lazy. I can walk to both of the Universities that I need within 5min and there are a lot more around. All the important shops (from Billa, Spar, Hofer, Bipa, Libro, Parmacies... ) are nearby. Also, the gym is well equiped for the space that is on hand (and compared to other dorms). That the kitchen is often dirty is really not the fault of the dorm itself, but the other residents on the floor. 4/5 Stars because I am a little dissapointed, that the balcony is apparently only for those living on the 7th floor and also because the elevator is often malfunctioning.
