Der Hochwechsel bildet auf 1743m exakt die Grenze zwischen der Steiermark und Niederösterreich und ist über die gebührenpflichtige Mautstraße (4.50€) direkt mit dem Auto, aber auch über verschiedene Wege fußläufig erreichbar. Die einmalige Natur und Lage unweit vom Wohnort macht ihn zu einem Favorit meiner Lieblingsplätze zum Verweilen, als Hotspot für Foto und Film, oder als Ausgangs- und Zielort für viele Tracking- und Bike-Touren. Fazit: Klare Empfehlung... ☆☆☆☆☆

At 1743m, the Hochwechsel forms exactly the border between Styria and Lower Austria and can be reached directly by car via the toll road (€ 4.50), but also within walking distance via various paths. The unique nature and location not far from where you live makes it a favorite of my favorite places to linger, as a hotspot for photos and films, or as a starting point and destination for many tracking and bike tours. Conclusion: Clear recommendation ... ☆☆☆☆☆
