Beeindruckende Kapelle.
 Whenever I'm up here and in almost any weather there are many people who visit this mountain. When the sky is clear, the view is overwhelming.

Wechselgraben: Familientauglich zu erwandernder Wildbach.
Marienseer Schwaig: Bewirtschaftete Alm und Raststation mit freundlicher Bedienung.
Hochwechsel: Beautiful vantage point which is also accessible via a toll road.
Wechselgraben: A torrent suitable for families to hike.
Marienseer Schwaig: Managed alpine pasture and rest station with friendly service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gemütliche Sonnenaufgangstour zum Hochwechsel. Sehr empfehlenswert in den frühen Morgenstunden....Start beim Gasthaus Spitzbauer, direkt zum Gipfel. Retour über Vorauer Schweig, Quellenweg, Rosenbühelweg und Mönichswalder Schwaig... P. S. Quellenweg ist ein Abstecher wert??.
Comfortable sunrise tour to the Hochwechsel. Highly recommended in the early morning hours ... Start at Gasthaus Spitzbauer, directly to the summit. Return via Vorauer Schweig, Quellenweg, Rosenbühelweg and Mönichswalder Schwaig ... P. S. Quellenweg is worth a detour??.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ very windy but nice... food is good and welcoming after a hiking tour. You even can sit together with the military staff together which are based at the peak station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely fabulous views in all directions; into the endless plains of Pannonia as well as into sheer insurmountable mountains. Great mountain restaurant, too. The walk up from Moenichkirchen took 2.5h (down, too) and was technically easy but not to be under in length (up and down about 20km and 700m altitude up/down). It is a great walk in very nice landscape throughout.
