Himmelblau Tapas bar & restaurant

Wir sitzen im Freien und haben gerade noch einen Platz ergattert. Also lieber frühzeitig reservieren. Es sind hier sehr viele Einheimische, was auch schon mal ein gutes Zeichen ist. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kümmert sich laufend um die Gäste. Das Essen beginnt mit einem leckeren Gruß aus der Küche. Warum es Tapas Bar heißt weiß ich nicht, weil es hier weder Spanische Küche noch kleine Häppchen gibt. Die Suppe war exquisit und auch nicht gar zu scharf. Mein Steirer Chili mit Kürbiskernpolente war einzigartig fantastisch. Das Essen, das Service, das Lokal ist wirklich zu empfehlen!

Tischreservierung ist umbedingt erforderlich. Die Qualität der Speisen ist ausgezeichnet und die Preise dafür angemessen, aber nicht teuer. Das Ambiente im Lokal ist nicht optimal. Leider alles ein bisschen abgeranzt und aufgebraucht ich würde sagen altbacken, aber das ausgezeichnete Essen macht das wieder gut. Der Service ist OK. Die Kellnerin kommt ein wenig kühl rüber und könnte ein wenig freundlicher sein. Fazit: Essen 5 Sterne für Service und Ambiente 4 Sterne.

Good and cheap exotic Food (great fish soup for 5,60€), nice irish Pub next door. 10/10

We had to wait 1:30 hours for our main course. Waiting time for a bowl of soup was 50 minutes. The staff becomes unfriendly when you ask after 1:15 hours about your food. That is unacceptable. After 1:30 hours waiting time I received the wrong order. Stuff will not serve you any longer after you complain about the waiting time. They simple ignore you and will not ask if you need another drink. The kitchen team for sure is complete disorganized. We ordered food that is already cooked and prepared (thai curry, soup, meat-salad : those things have to be prepared several hours before). This is not a la carte at all. To put a soup into a bowl does not take 50 minutes. We ordered at 8:10 pm, when all other tables already had their food. So we came after the bussiest hours. At 9:00pm the restaurant was half empty, the rest of the people drank a glass of wine, when we received our soup. On a neighbours table the people ordered a dessert which needs more manual work than putting a soup into a bowl - but those people got their dessert after only 10 minutes waiting time. Still at the same moment the waiter explained to us, that "everyone has to wait for their food" (which is logical correct, they waited 10 minutes, we waited for 1:30 hours..so everyone waits, just different time-models are applied.) We will not visit this restaurant again.

We (2 persons) waited for "one-pot" feurige tagliatelle and gebratene quesadillas for over 60 mins!!! Even 2 persons, that arrived after us, received their food!!! What takes so long to make these two easy dishes (photos are attached)?? We paid for what we got in this time (1 bier, 1 water with lemon and 1 soup) and left to the next door Pizzeria. Got our delicious pizza and fish with fries in 10 mins ??
