★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Attesa ingiustificabile, ci siamo seduti in 4 nei tavoli esterni aspettando un cameriere per l’ordinazione, dopo 10 minuti stanchi di aspettare ci siamo recati dentro e comunicando ciò alla cassiera (nonché proprietaria), ci ha dato il foglietto della nostra ordinazione mandandoci fuori scorbuticamente e dicendo di dover consegnare tale foglietto al cameriere che dopo poco sarebbe arrivato. Dopo 20 minuti ancora di attesa e neanche l’ombra di un cameriere siamo andati via :)
 Unjustifiable wait, 4 of us sat in the outside tables waiting for a waiter to order, after 10 minutes tired of waiting we went inside and communicating this to the cashier (as well as the owner), she gave us the slip of our order sending us out surly and saying that he had to give this piece of paper to the waiter who would soon arrive. After another 20 minutes of waiting and not even the shadow of a waiter, we left :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella pasticceria in centro a Lienz. Peccato che abbia chiesto un dolce senza lattosio, ma mi hanno portato un dolce che lo aveva. Avevo anche chiesto 3 volte per esserne sicura. Non tornerò mi spiace.
Nice patisserie in the center of Lienz. Too bad I asked for a lactose-free dessert, but they brought me a dessert that had it. I had also asked 3 times to be sure. I will not go back sorry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The City Cafe in Lienz is located directly on the main square and is the perfect place for people watching in summer - to see and to be seen!Large outside seating area in summer. Inside has cosy and traditional styling with separate smoking area.Basic food menus with snacks and salads. More the place to go and drink a coffee and eat a cake which are excellent! Great ice creams too!Prices are fair considering you are on the main square.Service is always good and food and drinks turn up quickly, even when it's busy.Large selection of cakes, sweets and chocolates to take-away - perfect for gifts.Does get busy and finding a table is sometimes a challenge but a short wait is well worth it. Also a great spot for viewing many of the free concerts taking place in the summer! A trip to Lienz should definitely include a visit to City Cafe. Highly recommended!
