★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply fantastic! Great vietnamese food at very affordable prices. The service is always top and the place is very special. Be careful not to suffocate on your summer rolls while head banging to Rammstein or Metallica ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This authentic Vietnamese bistro transports you out of Vienna with distinctive cooking smells. Unfortunately the place is not the most enticing for an evening meal, but perfect to take home or to have a quick bite. Friendly staff with accurate recommendations. Some of the finest summer rolls i've had in Vienna, very generous portions, and a fantastically spiced veggie dish and rice. Savouring every bite. This is the kind of local business we should all be supporting. Can't wait to go back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I feel so lucky to live right by this place. My husband and I go here about once a week and everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. It’s not easy to find authentic and tasty Asian food here in Vienna, but this place is one of my favorites. The guys who work there are always friendly and cook the food to order so it’s very fresh. Highly recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great vietnamese food prepared by the nicest cook to meet in Vienna. Finally reopened and named after his signature greeting loved by friends and long time guests.
My favorite vietnamese bistro so far. I can really recommend bun bo and summer rolls in summer and spicy soups like canh chua or pho in winter. Also make sure to try some bac loi when you're fancy for a spicy savory flavor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Other the food being incredible (best vegan pho I've had), this is the only place in Vienna that I've experienced that someone is being as nice about waiting for me to run to the ATM or that they throw in extra summer rolls to our order (remembering that half of them should be without coriander). Always a lovely experience and the only place ever I've felt the need to leave a google review for.
A fan for life! :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Where do I begin..
The fish sauce dip was rancid. It was stale and didn’t taste like anything I ever ate in Vietnam. Too much vinegar in there, plus black coarse pepper?
Summer rolls with shrimps. Frozen shrimps that were badly cleaned because I could still taste the salt. Not the seasoning salt. But the salt that came with the shrimps. And zero Vietnamese cilantro. Only iceberg salad, bean sprouts, cilantro and peanuts.
Tofu Bun Bo was a disaster. Tasteless. I stopped eating it after 2 bites because I couldn’t take it with the rancid sauce. It actually uses the same sauce as the summer rolls. But you can see it for yourself how different they look. Again no Vietnamese cilantro. Just carrots and whatnot.
The curry is also under par.
This would be the last time I took people of no Asian heritage’s words for south East Asian food recommendation. 4 point friggin 9 on google!!!! Take a 2 weeks trip or longer to Vietnam before you give your two cents on Vietnamese food please.
