S	Stefan on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tolle Ferienwohnungen in super Lage. Wir haben unseren Skiurlaub im Januar 2022 im Haus Schmeisser verbracht. Zu Obertauern brauchen wir sicherlich nicht viel schreiben. Die tollen Bilder sagen alles. Schnee satt, tolle Pisten und liften ohne anzustehen, obwohl wir in der Hochsaison (Winterferien) da waren. Im Haus Schmeisser haben wir zwei Apartments gebucht. Beide sehr schön und liebevoll ausgestattet. Fast alles im Haus ist handgefertigt, was man auch an der Qualität merkt. Keine billigen Möbel von IKEA, sondern alles aus massivem Holz. Die Lage ist auch super. Der Einstieg ins Skiparadies ist über den Zentrallift möglich. Um dahin zu gelangen, muss man nur ca. zehn Schritte die Straße hoch gehen und kann dann von dort mit den Skiern zum Zentrallift fahren. Wer noch ungeübt ist, hat direkt vor dem Haus einen Übungshang mit Tellerlift. Diesen kann man auch sehr gut für den Heimweg nutzen, indem man kurz vor der Gamsleitenbahn runterfährt und dann über die Straße zum Tellerlift geht. Dieser bringt einen dann direkt wieder vor die Haustür. Besser geht es kaum. Falls man gerne Apre-Ski macht, kann man auch von der Edelweißhütte nach Hause fahren. Einfach über den Ziehweg hinter der Edelweißhütte zum Olympia-Zentrum abfahren. Von dort sind es auch nur noch wenige Meter zur Pension. Susanne und mein Namensvetter Stefan sind extrem freundlich, nett und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich einfach willkommen und gut aufgehoben. Der Brötchenservice am Morgen ist super und eine Tiefgarage gibt es auch. Der Skikeller ist groß und perfekt ausgestattet. Wir können das Haus Schmeisser also jedem uneingeschränkt empfehlen und kommen gerne wieder! Great apartments in a great location. We spent our skiing holiday in January 2022 at Haus Schmeisser. We certainly don't need to write much about Obertauern. The great pictures say it all. Lots of snow, great slopes and lifts without queuing, even though we were there in the high season (winter holidays). We have booked two apartments in Haus Schmeisser. Both very nicely and lovingly furnished. Almost everything in the house is handmade, which is also evident in the quality. No cheap furniture from IKEA, everything made of solid wood. The location is great too. Access to the ski paradise is possible via the central lift. To get there, you only have to take about ten steps up the street and from there you can ski to the central lift. Those who are still inexperienced have a practice slope with a pommel lift right in front of the house. This can also be used very well for the way home by driving down just before the Gamsleitenbahn and then crossing the street to the pommel lift. This brings you right back to your front door. It couldn't be better. If you like to do apre-skiing, you can also go home from the Edelweißhütte. Simply take the Ziehweg behind the Edelweißhütte to the Olympic Center. From there it is only a few meters to the pension. Susanne and my namesake Stefan are extremely friendly, nice and helpful. You just feel welcome and in good hands. The bread delivery service in the morning is great and there is also an underground car park. The ski cellar is large and perfectly equipped. We can therefore recommend Haus Schmeisser to everyone and would be happy to come back!

Looks what and how you pack or unpack your luggage, alows himself to make blunt remarks, tried to convince us to pack our car outside the house (in freezing cold) though we had paid for the garage. Overall impression terrible. On the other hand Obertauern is quite nice place to spend winter holidays.
