★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice traditional hotel just across an entry point to the skiing slopes. Rooms are quiet and comfortable. Decent Austrian breakfast and very friendly hotel staff. Hotel is within walking distance from aprés ski bars and restaurants.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place, very friendly and helpful staff. Car garage 100m from hotel. Coffee shop with very tasty apfelstrudel. I was staying in single room which was renovated recently. You can get easily to slopes on each sides of Obertauern. One side is accessible via tiny ski lift is on the back of hotel, second side - you need to do ~200-300 of ski touring.
