Im Haus gibt es alles, was man braucht, zudem ist die Inhaberin ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend. Vorbehaltlos zu empfehlen für alle Winterurlauber und Bergfreunde. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit, vielen Dank! A great apartment for families or smaller groups, in a fantastic location in the mountain valley and right on the river. There is everything you need in the house, and the owner is extremely friendly and courteous. Recommended without reservation for all winter vacationers and mountain lovers. We had a great time, thank you very much!

Es war wirklich ein Traum, den die Besitzerin des Hauses Frau Christine Unger für uns verwirklicht hat. Dafür bedanken wir uns ganz herzlich! Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll und gemütlich angerichtet und verfügt über alles, was man für eine perfekte Erholung mitten in der Natur braucht. Im Sommer oder im Winter bietet das Defereggental viele Möglichkeiten für Ausflüge nach Lienz und St. Jakob oder Spaziergänge. Gegenüber dem Haus gibt es einen schönen Fluss und eine herrliche Bergwelt. Man kann unendlich die faszinierende Natur genießen, die mit ihre Schönheit jeden verzaubert. Wir können das Haus Even für Natur-Fans nur weiterempfehlen. We spent a wonderful time at Haus Even! It was really a dream that the owner of the house, Mrs. Christine Unger, made a reality for us. We thank you very much for that! The house is furnished very lovingly and comfortably and has everything you need for perfect relaxation in the middle of nature. In summer or winter the Defereggental offers many possibilities for excursions to Lienz and St. Jakob or walks. Opposite the house there is a beautiful river and beautiful mountains. You can endlessly enjoy the fascinating nature, which enchants everyone with its beauty. We can only recommend Haus Even for nature fans.

Das charmante gediegene Interieur verbindet sich auf äußerst gelungene Weise mit der modernen Bad- und Küchenausstattung - alles ästhetisch und praktisch. Der liebevolle Empfang der Gastgeberin und ein köstliches kleines Gastgeschenk zum Abschied - mehr wird nicht verraten- empfand ich als Tüpfelchen auf dem i! Die Even war für uns ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Deferegger Natur und Bergwelt, zum Golfen und für eine Spritztour nach Südtirol. Die kühle Abend- und Nachtluft hat uns hitzegeplagte StädterInnen herrlich erfrischt. Wir kommen sicher wieder! July 2019 After a wonderful, relaxing summer vacation in Defereggental, I can highly recommend the well-tended and homely vacation home Even. The charming, dignified interior combines very successfully with the modern bathroom and kitchen equipment - all aesthetically and practically. The loving reception of the hostess and a delicious little goodbye gift - nothing more will be revealed - I found the icing on the cake! The Even was for us an ideal starting point for excursions into the Deferegger nature and mountains, for golfing and for a jaunt to South Tyrol. The cool evening and night air wonderfully refreshed us heat-stricken townspeople. We will be back for sure!
A	Anja Thomanek on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr gemütliches Haus, tolle alte Einrichtung, super Lage - Bergpanorama vom Balkon, Skibus genau gegenüber, 5min zur Talstation, Loipe hinter dem Haus. Wir haben dort mehrfach die Skiferien verbracht sowohl in der großen (4 Pers.) als auch der kleinen Wohnung (7 Pers.) und können das Haus Even nur weiterempfehlen. Frau Unger ist eine immer erreichbare und sehr hilfsbereite sowie unkomplizierte Gastgeberin. Das Defereggental ist ein kleines, aber immer sehr winterliches und erholsames Tal. Für Familien aufgrund der geringen Besucherzahl wirklich gut geeignet. Auch Langlauf und Skitouren (z.B. am Staller Sattel) kann man toll unternehmen. Very cozy house, great old furnishings, great location - mountain panorama from the balcony, ski bus just opposite, 5 minutes to the valley station, cross-country ski trail behind the house. We spent our ski holidays there several times, both in the large (4 people) and in the small apartment (7 people) and can only recommend Haus Even. Ms. Unger is an always available and very helpful and uncomplicated host. The Defereggental is a small, but always very wintry and relaxing valley. Really suitable for families due to the small number of visitors. Cross-country skiing and ski tours (e.g. on the Staller Sattel) are also great to do.
A	Antje Janosch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zwei sommerliche Wochen haben wir in der liebevoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung 'Freude' im Haus Even verbracht. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und hatten das Glück die Vermieterin persönlich kennenzulernen. Unsere persönlichen Ferienwohnungshighlights waren der Schallplattenspieler samt Schallplattenkollektion und das Buch vom Perchtenstein. Das Rauschen der Schwarzach hat uns morgens und abends begleitet. Der Blick aus dem Schlafzimmer das Tal hinunter bot immer einen guten Eindruck vom Wetter. Nicht zu vergessen das schmackhafte feine Deferegger Bergwasser aus der Hausquelle. Das Defereggental ist für österreichische Verhältnisse noch wunderbar wenig touristisch und bietet sehr schöne Wandertouren (für die ambitionierten vom Talgrund aus, für die "Anfänger" ab Bergstation der Seilbahn oder der ein oder anderen Almhütte, die mit Wandertaxis oder dem eigenen Auto erreichbar sind). We spent two summer weeks in the lovingly furnished holiday apartment 'Freude' in Haus Even. We felt very welcome and were lucky enough to get to know the landlady personally. Our personal holiday home highlights were the record player and record collection and the book from Perchtenstein. The murmur of the Schwarzach accompanied us in the morning and in the evening. The view from the bedroom down the valley always gave a good impression of the weather. Not to forget the tasty, fine Deferegger mountain water from the house spring. The Defereggental is still wonderfully little touristy by Austrian standards and offers very nice hiking tours (for the ambitious from the valley floor, for the "beginners" from the mountain station of the cable car or one or the other alpine hut, which can be reached with hiking taxis or your own car).

Это история любви…к природе и к близким людям. Дом оборудован всем, что нужно для уюта и комфорта, а также есть детские кроватки. Есть все необходимые банные принадлежности, а на кухне широкий выбор посуды. Дом очень светлый и чистый, с прекрасными пейзажами за окном, чудесным родником и рекой. Остановившись в этом доме, можно посетить прекрасные места по близости: Lienz, St. Jakob, Obersee, Tristacher See… А также, можно быстро и легко добраться на автомобиле до Италии, и посетить прекрасные города Южного Тироля. The interior and atmosphere of this house is more than just a fairy tale! This is a love story ... for nature and for loved ones. The house is equipped with everything you need for coziness and comfort, and there are also baby cots. There are all the necessary bath accessories, and the kitchen has a wide selection of dishes. The house is very bright and clean, with beautiful landscapes outside the window, a wonderful spring and a river. Staying in this house, you can visit beautiful places in the vicinity: Lienz, St. Jakob, Obersee, Tristacher See ... And also, you can quickly and easily reach Italy by car and visit the beautiful cities of South Tyrol. V	Virginia Flanagin on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Haus Even is a perfect vacation rental for families or small to mid size groups. The house consists of two apartments, a smaller one that works for 2 adults and 2-3 children, and the large house that has two double rooms and three single rooms. We were 6 adults and 5 smaller children and we fit well into the large apartment. The children made snow forts in the yard or played in the living room on a raised platform above the tiled stove. We played card games in the evening at the kitchen table and made dinner each night in the well equipped kitchen. The small apartment has a separate entrance and is not connected, but it was still for going back and forth. Christine, the host, was very helpful when we asked about amenities and how to get to the ski area, or what to do around the area. We learned through her how to take the ski bus from right outside the house and that we could ski back along the cross-country ski route. The ski area was perfect for children and the ski school was very good. There was enough for the adults as well and it sounds like they are building a new lift either this year or next. We have already planned our next trip and will stay at Haus Even!

The chalet was charming with some cozy old-style furniture combined with an upgraded modern bathroom - perfect. When we had questions, Christine always answered promptly and helped us out. The area is lovely and quiet, the nearby river Schwarzach comes with very calming background noise and at the end of our stay, the neighbor's cows came close to the enjoyment of our children. There are great smaller hiking trails nearby. At a nearby farm, we purchased very tasty organic milk, eggs and bread, and other items; there is also a supermarket in St. Jakob. If you need to get some break from stressful city life, with the lovely nature here (perhaps combined with doing some remote work), this place is for you. The Internet speed was superb.
