ā ā ā ā ā Good location next to the Funicular to the Salt Mine. prices were fair and it was easy to park in. Full sun though, which sucks on a hot day. BUT you MUST get here early in the summer if you are hoping for a spot. Parking is in high demand from visiting tourists.

ā ā ā ā ā A parking place close to the Salzwelten ticket office and the lift station to the salt mine. Also close to the Hallstatt city center. Price OK - i.e. what you would expect for a attractive tourist destination. We arrived around 9.00 am and there were still a lots of parking spots. But it got worse during the day. So it is good to arrive early to be able to park your car there.

ā ā ā ā ā Convenient parking. Short walking distance to the main attraction point. In the entrance you get a small chipped coin. And you make payment and check out with that coin. Keep it safe. I saw some people prefering P1 parking place more but considering number of available spots P2 is better.

ā ā ā ā ā A little weird but efficient. The check-in machine dispenses a little yellow coin that apparently has an RFID tag. You hold on to the coin until you return to the lot and put it into a machine that tells you how much you owe. Once you pay, you get the coin back and put it into the machine that lets you out.
