M	Meiss Franz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die Hütte ist echt einen Ausflug wert! Sie ist relativ leicht zu ereichen und super Beschildert! Der Hüttenwirt ist echt einfach Top! Die Aussicht ist der Hammer! Wir hatten ne Kaspressknödelsuppe und ein Käsebrot einfach yummy! Als Nachspeise nen Kaffee und nen oberleckeren Apfelstrudel! The hut is really worth a trip! It is relatively easy to get to and is well signposted! The hut owner is really just great! The view is awesome! We had a cheese dumpling soup and a cheese sandwich just yummy! For dessert, coffee and a delicious apple strudel!

Man hat das Gefühl jederzeit willkommen zu sein. Das hat auch mein Hund Maxi genossen, die Schweinsbraten Reste haben auch ihm gemundet??? Extremely friendly host couple, very good cuisine! Remember, the hut is at more than 2,400 m above sea level and very difficult to deliver. You have the feeling to be welcome at any time. My dog Maxi enjoyed it too, and he also enjoyed the roast pork leftovers???

Ook al hadden we geen tafel gereserveerd (wat door corona eigenlijk verplicht was), toch kregen we er vriendelijk gelijk één toegewezen. Genoeg keuze uit maaltijden, soepen, warme en koude dranken. De maaltijdsoepen die we bestelden werden snel gebracht en smaakten naar meer. Ook is alles redelijk geprijsd. Zeker een aanrader op een toplocatie in de mooie Oostenrijkse Alpen! Very nicely located modern mountain hut with good food. Even though we hadn't reserved a table (which was actually required by corona), we were kindly assigned one right away. Enough choice of meals, soups, hot and cold drinks. The meal soups we ordered were delivered quickly and left us wanting more. Also everything is reasonably priced. Definitely recommended in a prime location in the beautiful Austrian Alps!

We asked why we have just 3 mattresses for 4 people and the answer was incredible: "it would be too much work"! The shower had only cold water and sometimes "mountain cold" but you have to still pay 2€. I didn't get for what... It was not possible to get hot water for tea after dinner because: "everything is already clean". Maybe we should take what they gave us and be happy that we can even stay there. Comparing the previous cottage (Duisburger Huette) this was big disappointed.
