Eine einzigartige Landschaft, die im Sommer von mehreren hundert Kühen beweidet wird und Tausende Touristen anlockt. Im Herbst, wenn die vielen Ahornbäume ihre Blätter leuchten lassen, ist der Ahornboden ein besonderes Erlebnis, das leider nur ein paar Tage währt. The Große Ahornboden is a high valley in Tyrol and can be reached by bike / car / motorcycle from Bavaria via a toll road. A unique landscape that is grazed by several hundred cows in summer and attracts thousands of tourists. In autumn, when the many maple trees let their leaves shine, the maple floor is a special experience that unfortunately only lasts a few days.
C	Charly on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mautstraße bis zum Parkplatz Eng. Im hinteren Teil des Risstals befindet sich der Ahornboden kurz vor den Parkbereichen. Meistens alter Baumbestand. Ende September wegen der Blätterfärbung besonders reizvoll. Ideal mit dem Fahrrad zu durchfahren, da die Straße so gut wie eben. Toll road to the Eng parking lot. In the rear part of the Risstal, the Ahornboden is located just before the parking areas. Mostly old trees. Particularly attractive at the end of September because of the color of the leaves. Ideal for cycling through, as the road is as good as flat.

Der große Ahornboden ist zu jeder Jahreszeit ein sehr lohnendes Ausflugsziel aber ganz besonders schön ist es dort im Herbst-man fühlt sich wie beim „Indian Summer“ in Kanada!?? Exceptionally beautiful landscape in Tyrol! ?? The large maple floor is a very worthwhile excursion destination in every season of the year, but it is especially beautiful there in autumn - you feel like you are at the "Indian Summer" in Canada! ??
T	TH3 TR/\V1R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a marvelous view and what a gorgeous place for hiking! It's also a small paradise for landscape photographers. Most of the trees are several hundred years old (up to 700). Remember to keep walking only on the designated trails and take your trash back with you! Be mindful of the beautiful nature so it will last! Note that the last 15 kilometers to the nature reserve are toll road and even though it's in Austria, you can only access through Germany. Entry by car is only possible during summer time until end of October (see homepage Wegegemeinschaft Hinterriss). In winter the toll road is closed so the valley becomes hard to reach.
