Perfect golf course for beginner

Excellent faucilities, very friendly and helpful staff!

Great practice area and a nice 9 hole course for a quick after-work round. Can get very windy sometimes.

For golf players a very good short playing and a best restaurant. Normal prices and good quality

I've played golf for 30 years, growing up in America it was a huge part of my life. As I reached adulthood it became harder to find time, and when I moved here to Vienna in 2018 I worried I might never have the opportunity to play again. At the end of last summer we decided to stop by and just spend some time on the range, from the moment we first walked in the staff was extremely kind and accommodating, going above and beyond to help me just enjoy a day on the practice range. Soon we inquired about a membership and once again the staff was incredible, helpful, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. They helped us out through the entire membership process and made it all incredibly easy. I also believe the manager, Chris potentially the first or one of the first in Austria to receive his degree in golf club management Every member of the clubhouse staff we've had the pleasure of meeting has just been awesome, if you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran, go there and have a chat. I also have a lot to say about the practice facility. I have played courses in the US that have been incredibly exclusive and expensive that don't have practice facilities like schwechat has. They have a massive driving range with mats and grass coming from multiple directions, they have heated practice bays for the winter, they have a wonderful fitting area, two large 9 hole putting greens, two large pitching greens, a chipping green, an area to practice fairway bunker shots, an area to practice playing out of the rough, they even have a rounded hill where you can practice hitting shots with various levels of elevation. It's absolutely class. The condition of the course is also better than what you would expect from a course of this length. The greens and bunkers are always well-maintained, the fairways clean and give good lies, and it really does a great job of being consistent. It's the best 9 hole course I've found in the area, and it's better by a significant margin. I could go on and on about the staff (Klaus, Bianca, Ralf, Thomas, Martin, Chris, Matt, sorry if I forgot anyone!) and the restaurant and the course but I feel this review is getting a bit long-winded. If you are curious about golf or looking for a place to play and potentially call home, come check this place out, it's brought the game back into my life and I'm better for it and I can't recommend it enough. Edit: Come here for a fitting! Klaus and Martin are the real deal and you'll get so much more from them than you would from golfhouse. Trust me, if you want to play your best golf, get fitted with people who want you to succeed, not people that just want to sell you clubs. They've got a brand new trackman, no old skytracks with antiquated software, either.

Good restaurant with nice atmosphere. Great view on the green from the outside terrasse. Tasty and fresh food. Friendly service.

Resturent has a pleasant indoor and outdoor sitting Ita not expensive and not far away from vienna If you are learning then it's an ideal place for you This golf club is not supper elite class but it provides all of necessary services Will highly recommend it
