M	Michael Rotter on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöner Linkskurs in Wien. Immer gut gepflegt (schöne Grüns) und das nicht nur bei Meisterschaft. Allerdings immer noch etwas abgehoben und in der Vergangenheit hängen geblieben. Aber Platz ist stark wellig und interessant, nicht leicht aber macht Spaß Nice left course in Vienna. Always well maintained (beautiful greens) and not only in championship. However, still a bit off and stuck in the past. But space is very wavy and interesting, not easy but fun
A	A T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Auf der Website wird in Grossbuchstaben angeführt „Ja wir nehmen neue Mitglieder auf“. Nach einer Anfrage erfährt man dann „naja eigentlich nehmen wir niemanden auf, es gibt eine Warteliste“. Nimmt man die Warteliste in Kauf, kommt dann die Rückmeldung „ohne die Referenzen von 2 bereits bestehenden Mitgliedern ist eine Aufnahme nicht möglich. Wir wollen unter uns bleiben“. Genau aus diesem Grund hat Golf bei der jungen Generation nach wie vor einen sehr schlechten Ruf in Österreich. Schade weil der Platz und die Lage sind sicher top. The website states in capital letters "Yes, we are accepting new members". After an inquiry you are told "well actually we don't accept anyone, there is a waiting list". If you put up with the waiting list, you will get the feedback “Without the references of 2 existing members, admission is not possible. We want to keep to ourselves." Precisely for this reason, golf still has a very bad reputation among the younger generation in Austria. It's a shame because the space and the location are definitely great.

Die Fairways sind zuweilen schmal, da ist es, wie sonst auch, hilfreich, wenn man halbwegs gerade spielt. Für den Greenfee Spieler ist es öfter mal schwer zu erkennen, wo das nächste Loch beginnt. Beautiful, well-kept, flat in Vienna's Prater integrated into the racecourse. The fairways are sometimes narrow as it is, as usual, helpful if you currently playing halfway. For the green fee players, it is often times difficult to see where the next hole begins.

I was a tourist in Vienna and decided I wanted to play golf at a club near our ship. I telephoned the club and was told all was OK if I wanted to play. So I journeyed there by taxi, paid the fee and was directed to the caddiemaster. He was a friendly bloke and gave me a pull along trolley. After the game, I went back to him to ask him to call a taxi because I needed to be back at the ship by 6.30p.m. to go to a concert at the Lichenstein Palace. He called the taxi ...waited .. waited ..he called again ...more waiting. Eventually I asked him to drive me back to the ship and the caddiemaster agreed!!! So he drove me back to the ship and I paid him the taxi fee!! all in time for the concert. I thought that was pretty good. The course you ask??? about your average municipal course playable but nothing spectacular.
M	Marcus Lier on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well maintained golf course close to the center of Vienna. Utmost friendly staff. Course is not a challenge for the routined player. If you can hit the Ball straight- everything will be just fine. Worthwhile. I enjoyed my self very much. And I loved these drinking stations along the way. Great job guys.
