S. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine sehr nette Gelegenheit für einen Zwischenstopp für einen Kaffee und diversen selbst gebackenen Kuchen aber auch für kleine Speisen od auch einfach nur ein kühles Getränk od ein Eis. Mit Gassenverkauf und schönem schattigen Gastgarten wo man ein freundlich bedient wird. Kinder und Hundefreundlich! A very nice opportunity for a stopover for a coffee and various homemade cakes but also for small dishes or just a cool drink or an ice cream. With alley sales and a beautiful shady garden where you are served in a friendly way. Children and dog friendly!
M	Marion Hirsch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wenn ich mir die Meinungen hier so durchlese, würde ich meinen wiederkommen zu wollen und darauf zu hoffen, dass die Damen bei meinem nächsten Besuch gut drauf sind, der Guglhupf nicht bickn blieben ist, die heisse Schokolade heiss ist, nicht nur lauwarm und 1/2 mit Schaum gefüllt. Die Damen hinter dem Tresen nicht genervt sind. "Im Gulasch ist ja auch Kümmel" ... war die Antwort ob in der Karottentorte Nüsse sind, da keine Allergene auf der Kreidetafel notiert sind. Danke für den Lokalbesuch der anderen Art. Ach und Verzeihung, dass ich keine Bäckerin bin! If I read through the opinions here, I would think that I want to come back and hope that the ladies are in a good mood on my next visit, the Guglhupf is not bicky, the hot chocolate is hot, not just lukewarm and 1 / 2 filled with foam. The ladies behind the counter aren't annoyed. "There is also caraway in the goulash" ... the answer was whether there were nuts in the carrot cake, as no allergens were noted on the chalk board. Thank you for visiting a different kind of restaurant. Oh and sorry for not being a baker!
T	Thomas Paul on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In und um den Prater ist es ja gar nicht so einfach nette Lokale zu finden - umso mehr hat mich die Entdeckung dieser kleinen süßen Oase überrascht. Hinterm Lusthaus, am Weg zum Golfplatz und den Pferdeställen, verrät dieser Ort nicht gleich was er drauf hat. Im Schatten der Bäume haben wir uns für die Tagesspeise entschieden und wurden mit einem sensationellen Eierschwammerlragout überrascht. Die Krönung war dann noch der gestürzte Zwetschkenkuchen, der sogar mit einer Kugel Vanilleeis um die Ecke kam. Es gab noch 3 weitere Mehlspeisen und der Kaffee war ausgezeichnet. Hervorheben möchte ich auch die überaus freundliche Bedienung. Was für ein Kleinod! FREUDE! NOW! In and around the Prater, it is not so easy to find nice places - the more surprised I was the discovery of this little sweet oasis. Behind the house, on the way to the golf course and the horse stables, this place does not reveal what he has on it. In the shade of the trees, we opted for the daily special and were surprised with a sensational egg mushroom ragout. The coronation was then the fallen plum cake, which came even with a scoop of vanilla ice cream around the corner. There were 3 more pastries and the coffee was excellent. As requested, all cakes are made here for tea or coffee without exception and therefore taste great, a real insider tip. And not only that there are also warm dishes that are seasonal, simply top address, but please do not pass on, thank you.
C	Christoph Puhl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drei typisch Wienerische Damen bedienen, zurecht grantig, wenn jemand Essen zum mitnehmen bestellt und hier konsumiert ("Schade um das Material, was das für die Umwelt bedeutet. Da wäre ein Teller vernünftiger"). Das finde ich sehr lobenswert, da viel zu viele Menschen nicht daran denken, wie sehr sie unseren Planeten verschmutzen. Das Essen ist sehr gut, die Atmosphäre stimmig, der Gastgarten schattig und kühl. Alles in Allem ein kleines Lokal, das man immer wieder gerne besucht. Three typical Viennese ladies serve, rightly grumpy when someone orders take-away and consumes it here ("It's a shame about the material, what that means for the environment. A plate would be more sensible"). I find that very commendable, because far too many people don't think about how much they pollute our planet. The food is very good, the atmosphere is harmonious, and the outdoor dining area is shady and cool. All in all, a small restaurant that one always likes to visit.
