★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived late in the afternoon upon returning from the Hermann von Barth hütte via Bernhardstal - little known but rewarding if somewhat tricky route due to loose rocks on the steep descent when approaching Bernhardstal. Kids were enchanted by the beautiful alpine playground as on previous visits and rightly so! Despite only few guests being present, service was quite slow and noticeably less good-hearted than on previous occasions. Still, a perfect spot for taking a break from hiking or biking, especially in the company of (young) kids!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome panoramic setting. Definitely worth the steep climb to get to. They have lovely rooms available for overnight guests. All has been renovated in typical Tirol mountain style. Food and lunch service was excellent!
