 We came here in transit. The food was great, the service very friendly and the inn very clean. Everything is great!

Wir waren in der letzten Januarwoche 2020 dort, am letzten Wochenende dann hoch auf die Edelrautehütte zum Tauerntreffen. Unsere Gastgeberin, die Petra Lienbacher, hat uns freundlich und hilfsbereit empfangen, versorgt und bekocht. Ihre frischen Forellen waren die besten, die ich seit vielen Jahren gegessen habe! Die Zimmer und die Bäder sind frisch renoviert, alles sehr sauber. Wir können den Brodjäger aus vollem Herzen empfehlen!
It was our first time at the Brodjäger, but definitely not the last time! We were there in the last week of January 2020, then last weekend up to the Edelrautehütte for the Tauern meeting. Our hostess, Petra Lienbacher, welcomed, looked after and cooked us in a friendly and helpful manner. Their fresh trout were the best I've eaten in many years! The rooms and the bathrooms are newly renovated, everything was very clean. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Brodjäger!

Quaint, cozy inn. Very friendly service and excellent food. The char: a poem! The same goes for the Blunzengröstel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein tolles Gasthaus mit herausragenden Steirischen Spezialitäten, einer urgemütlichen Gaststube und überaus netten Wirtsleuten. Die Forelle muß man probieren - wirklich toll. Angemessene Preise. Wir kommen wieder!

A great inn with outstanding Styrian specialties, a really cozy dining room and very nice hosts. You have to try the trout - really great. Reasonable prices. We will be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Von einer sehr netten Mitarbeiterin wird man begrüßt und danach mit kleinen Leckerbissen verwöhnt. Köstlich war die Erdäpfel-Pilz-Suppe. Guter Platz für eine Rast. Sehr genaue Einhaltung der vorgegebenen Hygienemaßnahmen. Vorbestellen ist ratsam.
A very nice employee welcomes you and then pampers you with small delicacies. The potato and mushroom soup was delicious. Good place for a rest. Very strict compliance with the prescribed hygiene measures. Pre-ordering is advisable.

Absolutely excellent service and great food. Unfortunately we came outside of the opening times. Nevertheless, a perfect meal was conjured up especially for us. This is how I imagine perfect service and hospitality….
