V	Venatores Lux on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wer etwas auf der sogenannten Höhe der Zeit sucht, wird hier zweifelsohne enttäuscht werden. Man lässt sich in einem Gastgarten nieder, an dem die letzten Jahrzehnte vorüber gegangen sind und genießt die schönste Aussicht des Ortes. Das Haus ist ebenso ergraut, wie der Lack auf den schlichten Tischen im Garten. Niemand übt sich hier in Schnickschnack und Schischi. Was man hier erlebt, ist ein authentisches Gasthaus, das diesen Namen mehr als zurecht führt. Man ist hier Gast, kein Konsument. Das Bier ist steirisch und gepflegt. Gekocht wird wie bei Oma zuhause. Die Kaspressknödel suchen ihresgleichen. Der Rest von der kleinen Karte tadellos zubereitet, ohne Brimborium serviert... Netter Plausch inklusive... Besser geht's kaum, wenn man genau das Sucht, was hier geboten wird. If you are looking for something up to date, you will undoubtedly be disappointed here. You sit down in a guest garden where the last decades have passed and enjoy the most beautiful view of the place. The house is just as gray as the paint on the simple tables in the garden. Nobody here practices frills and ski shi. What you experience here is an authentic inn that more than justifies its name. You are a guest here, not a consumer. The beer is Styrian and well-kept. Cooking is like at grandma's at home. The cheese dumplings are second to none. The rest of the small menu perfectly prepared, served without fuss ... Nice chat included ... It hardly gets better if you are looking for exactly what is on offer here.

Ausgezeichnete Küche (Chefin kocht selbst) mit Hausmannskost. Always worth a visit. Loving, family-run inn with a wonderful chestnut garden and views of the Enns. Excellent cuisine (chef cooks herself) with home cooking.
T	Thomas Preiner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schweinebraten musste zurück. Fleisch war zäh, Knödel und Erdäpfel gingen. Voller Gastgarten, Bedienung völlig überfordert. Leider nur Minimum, ein Stern. Eigentlich keiner verdient. Roast pork had to go back. Meat was tough, dumplings and potatoes went. Full garden, service completely overstrained. Unfortunately only minimum, a star. No one really deserves it.

Die Zimmereinrichtung und Sauberkeit war ok, aber die Lage unseres Zimmer`s zur Hauptstrasse war ganz ganz schlecht. Ab ca. 5:00 Uhr fahren die Lkw`s im gefühlten 2 Minutentakt, dann ist es vorbei mit Nachtruhe. Das Essen, ich hatte Sauerfleisch mit Kartoffeln naja viele Pommesbuden können das besser. Das Frühstück war sowas von überschaubar je eine Sorte Wurst, Käse + Marmelade. Als Radfahrer erlebt man einiges, nicht immer hat man die Auswahl, der Radius ist eingeschränkt. Diesen Gasthof mussten wir nehmen. We had eaten at the inn in early September and stayed overnight. The room decor and cleanliness was ok, but the location of our room to the main street was very bad. From about 5:00 clock the trucks drive in the felt every two minutes, then it's over with night's sleep. The food, I had beef meat with potatoes well many fries could do it better. The breakfast was something of manageable ever a variety sausage, cheese + jam. As a cyclist you experience a lot, you do not always have the choice, the radius is limited. We had to take this inn.
C	Chtistoph P on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nette Gastleute, Zimmer sind sauber, einfache Einrichtung, einfaches Frühstück, wirklich schöne Aussicht auf das Ennstal vom Biergarten aus. Leider wird im Frühstücksraum geraucht. Außerdem ist es sehr laut in den Zimmern. Mit dem Kirchengeläut könnte man sich noch ändern aber man hat das Gefühl die LKW fahren einen quer durchs Zimmer, selbst bei geschlossenem Fenster. Nice guests, rooms are clean, simple furnishings, simple breakfast, really nice view of the Ennstal from the beer garden. Unfortunately there is smoking in the breakfast room. It is also very noisy in the rooms. You could still change with the church bells but you have the feeling that the trucks drive you across the room, even with the window closed.
