H	Hubert Schwarz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es ist richtig, dass man kaum zentraler wohnen kann. Leider ist das Gästehaus sehr schlecht geführt. Wir haben von Sonntag 30.5. bis 1.6.2021 gebucht. Wir haben dann ein Mail bekommen, dass der Schlüssel für die Anreise am "Freitag" im Schlüsselsafe sein wird. Ich habe dann reklamiert, dass wir am Sonntag kommen. Das wurde dann korrigiert und Anreise am Sonntag bestätigt. Am Sonntag standen wir vor dem Schlüsselsafe, nur war kein Schlüssel drinnen. Auf meinen Versuch hin, die Notrufnummer die mir angegeben wurde zu erreichen...Fehlanzeige. Innert 2 Stunden kam nur die Ansage "derzeit nicht erreichbar, versuchen sie es später". Wir haben dann ein anderes Hotel gewählt. Die Krönung war dann der Anruf der Rezeptionistin am Montag, es tue ihr leid, es wäre ein Fehler passiert. Angeblich habe man den Schlüssel erst später in den Schlüsselsafe gegeben. Ich wurde bewusst angelogen, weil ich um 17:45 nochmals den Safe kontrolliert habe und es war kein Schlüssel da, durch wen auch, wenn die Rezeption nicht besetzt ist. Die Krönung war dann noch, dass ich reklamiert habe, dass die Notfallnummer nicht erreichbar war. Hier wurde ich informiert, dass diese vom Geschäftsführer betreut wird und dies schon öfters passiert wäre. Ich habe dann gebeten, dass mich der Geschäftsführer anruft. Fehlanzeige, keine Reaktion. Wer so mit Gästen umgeht hat den Titel "Gästehaus" nicht verdient. It is true that you can hardly live more centrally. Unfortunately, the guest house is very poorly managed. We have from Sunday 30.5. booked until 1.6.2021. We then received an email that the key for arrival on "Friday" would be in the key safe. I then complained that we would come on Sunday. That was then corrected and arrival on Sunday confirmed. On Sunday we stood in front of the key safe, only there was no key inside. When I tried to reach the emergency number that was given to me ... Nothing. Within 2 hours only the announcement "currently not available, try it later" came. We then chose another hotel. The icing on the cake was the call from the receptionist on Monday saying she was sorry, a mistake had occurred. Allegedly, the key was only given to the key safe later. I was deliberately lied to because I checked the safe again at 5:45 p.m. and there was no key there, by whom even if the reception is not manned. The icing on the cake was that I complained that the emergency number could not be reached. Here I was informed that this is being looked after by the managing director and that this would have happened several times. I then asked the manager to call me. No response, no reaction. Anyone who treats guests like this does not deserve the title "guest house".
I	Ingo Schertler on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Es gab keinen besseren Ort, um einen Städteurlaub in Wien zu machen (wenn man über die durchgelegenen Matratzen hinweggesehen hat), allerdings ist das Haus jetzt vermutlich unter neuer Führung, was es - wie so oft - nicht besser gemacht hat. Frühstück wird keines mehr angeboten, dafür ist der Zimmerpreis empfindlich gestiegen und es wird mittlerweile ein zusätzlicher Aufpreis verrechnet, wenn man ein Zimmer mit Blick auf den Dom haben möchte. Sehr schade, aber hier stimmt die Preis - Leistung leider ganz und gar nicht mehr. There was no better place to take a city break in Vienna (if you overlooked the sagging mattresses), but the house is now probably under new management, which - as so often - has not made it any better. Breakfast is no longer offered, but the room price has risen significantly and an additional surcharge is now charged if you want a room with a view of the cathedral. It's a shame, but the price / performance ratio is unfortunately no longer right at all.

Camera molto grande e spaziosa, pulita e confortevole con affaccio direttamente sul Duomo (si poteva quasi toccare!!). Bellissimo! Staff gentile, disponibile e accogliente. Oltre le aspettative! Great location, right in the center, within walking distance of all major attractions and shops and restaurants. Very large and spacious, clean and comfortable room overlooking the Duomo (you could almost touch it !!). Very beautifull! Friendly, helpful and welcoming staff. Beyond expectations!
