Very cool experience! Almost 1 km in complete darkness. Caution: extremely dark, partly wet and no possibility to get off in between.

Tunnel verläuft ziemlich geradlinig und eben zuerst mit Betonaukleidung, dann in Fels. 990m werden angegeben, fühlt sich aufgrund völliger Dunkelheit länger an. Nach ca. 700m hört man das Rauschen des Baches und weiß, der Ausgang naht. Bei der Schieberanlage angekommen, fehlen dann nur noch 200m bis zum Ausgang. Nebel im Stollen ist manchmal möglich. Stirnlampen oder Fackeln sind Pflicht! Great experience, but nothing for people with claustrophobia. The tunnel is pretty straight forward and first with concrete cladding, then in rock. 990m are given, feels longer due to total darkness. After about 700m you can hear the rushing of the brook and know that the exit is approaching. When you arrive at the gate system, there are only 200 meters left to the exit. Fog in the tunnel is sometimes possible. Headlamps or torches are mandatory!

Highlight ist der 996m lange Gallruthstollen, der der Bewässerung diente. Mit Taschenlampe oder besser mit Fackel ein Abenteuer. Unser Sohn war begeistert. Beautiful area. The Gallruttalm is rustic, the hosts are nice and the food is delicious. Tip: try pine schnapps ?. The highlight is the 996m long Gallruth tunnel, which was used for irrigation. An adventure with a torch or, better, with a torch. Our son loved it.

H	Heribert Duling on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gebaut wurde der Stollen zusammen mit dem Hangkanal Ende der 1940er Jahre. Er diente dazu, Wasser durch den Bergrücken an die Hänge des Kaunerberges zu leiten. Im oberen Teil ist eine seitliche Öffnung, die die Wassermenge im Stollen reguliert und eine Übermenge abgeleitet hat. 996 Meter ist er lang, nicht beleuchtet, also richtig finster. Ein Gang hindurch ist etwas für Mutige, aber nicht nur für Kinder ein super Abenteuer. Größere Personen über 1,60 Meter sollten acht geben, sie könnten sich den Kopf stoßen. Eine gute Taschenlampe sollte man dabei haben. Es gibt auch geführte Wanderungen, dann werden Fackeln benutzt. Wer es denn gewagt und geschafft hat, auf den wartet oben eine schöne Einkehrmöglichkeit in der Gallruthalm. Da der Stollen auch heute noch zeitweilig zur Bewässerung genutzt wird, ist er nicht immer begehbar. The tunnel was built together with the slope channel at the end of the 1940s. C	Christina K. on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein tolles Erlebnis für Groß und Klein. Gutes (wasserfestes) Schuhwerk und Taschenlampe waren notwendig. Davor/Danach unbedingt die Gallruthalm besuchen. A great experience for young and old. Good (waterproof) shoes and a flashlight were necessary. Before / afterwards, be sure to visit the Gallruthalm.
