Le mémorial Français me semble t-il en retrait à bien des égards, discret mais c'est aussi le plus ancien. Cependant, les plaques témoignent d'une histoire tragique qui est poignante.
 The French memorial is moving because the funeral plaques are old compared to other countries which also have a more representative architecture. The French memorial seems to me to be set back in many respects, discreet but it is also the oldest. However, the plaques bear witness to a tragic story that is poignant.
