★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to be....a little adventure and nice views from the top. The space is not maintained and you have to find your way out always. Open maps and you can go around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ OK for a building 130+ years old this tower remains solid and sturdy so only a fear of heights will keep you away from the top platform from which you will enjoy an unsurpassed, sweeping view if the city, the river and hilly lands all around.
I counted 126 steps,
As a bonus, the large park grounds feature huge.trees(labeled!) and a rewarding, developing effort by the city to adapt the management to encourage the return of native plant life. In early stage now, the flourishing of so many different, and lovely, plants is heart warming.
Walk to the tower from the main town square, yes it's uphill but for old knees, walking downhill hurts more, so catch the bus for a ride to Taubenmk stop .
I suppose you could take the bus both ways.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place in Linz located in beautiful park. This tower has very nice wooden stairs. There is a nice view to the city. You take a pictures there. It is very calm and not so much turists. During summer long time open. Entrance ia for free.
