L	Lukas Sihorsch on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Viele kennen nur die Plattform am Pöstlingberg. Dabei ist diese Plattform mindestens genauso schön, zeigt Linz jedoch von einer ganz anderen Seite. Bei diesem Ausblick kann man die Seele baumeln lassen. Den Besuch dieser Plattform kann man wunderbar mit einem Spaziergang durch den Freinbergpark verbinden. Many only know the platform on Pöstlingberg. This platform is at least as beautiful, but shows Linz from a completely different perspective. With this view you can let your mind wander. A visit to this platform can be wonderfully combined with a walk through the Freinbergpark.
E	Ein Google-Nutzer on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Aussichtsplattform am Freinberg. Liegt weiter hinten als die Warte und die Kapelle. Man sieht hier nur einen kleineren Teil der Stadt, die Aussicht ist aber dennoch ganz schön. Sitzbänke vorhanden. Mir persönlich sind die anderen zwei Aussichtsorte im Park lieber, aber da der Abstand ja nur so gering ist, sollte man auch diese Aussichtsplattform besuchen. Observation platform on Freinberg. Lies farther back than the control room and the chapel. You can only see a smaller part of the city, but the view is still pretty. Benches available. Personally, I prefer the other two outlooks in the park, but since the distance is so small, you should also visit this viewing platform.

Herrliche Aussicht auf das nördliche Linz und Mühlviertel. Gute Fotos sind hier auf jeden Fall möglich. Auch gibt es die Möglichkeit für Sitzplätze. Eine noch bessere Aussicht hat man natürlich auf der Franz Josef Warte die 1 Minute entfernt ist. ? The Danube Valley viewing platform is located in the beautiful Freinberg Park behind the Barbara Chapel and Franz Josef Warte. Magnificent views of northern Linz and Mühlviertel. Good photos are definitely possible here. There is also the possibility of seating. Of course you have an even better view on the Franz Josef Warte which is 1 minute away. ?

Mit den einladenden Sitzbänke ist dieser Ort zu jeder Jahreszeit ein Erlebnis und läßt die Stadt immer in einen anderen Licht erstrahlen. Top The Danube Valley viewing platform is very easy to reach. The path offers a fantastic view of the city and is very popular with young and old. With the inviting benches, this place is an experience in every season and always lets the city shine in a different light. Top

A must-see for lovers of nature and city views. Enjoyable in any time of year, though better to come by daylight. Accessible through bus line 26, few hundred meters on foot from the bus stop Vergeinerstrasse.
