My bindings broke on my own skis and they went well out of their way to help me out with alternative bindings and rental skis.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very happy with the service at the First Descent ski rental in Bad Gastein. To be honest I HAD to choose this shop as my usual one was sold out for our ski holiday week. Paid a bit more than usual but got a good and superfast service. We got the skis for 3 people in about 10 minutes. It happened on a Friday and Saturday would obviously be the real "test" for any ski rental in terms of speed and friendliness, but based on our experience I would recommend the rental service. As a bonus they also respond to e-mail fast and helpfully.
