★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das Färberkreuz oder auch Fieberkreuz genannt ist ein Tabernakelbildstock in der nähe der Ruine Merkenstein. Er stammt vermutlich aus dem 16. Jahrhundert und man findet es links Richtung Ruine gleich nach der Abzweigung wo es rüber auf Pottenstein geht.
 The Färberkreuz or Fieberkreuz is a tabernacle shrine near the Merkenstein ruins. It probably dates from the 16th century and you can find it on the left in the direction of the ruin just after the junction where it goes over to Pottenstein.
