Nach der langen und leidvollen Zwangspause durch die Corona-Pandemie haben wir die Möglichkeit genutzt im Café Elmer ausgiebig zu Frühstücken! Es war klasse! Freundliche Bedienung, leckeres "Elmer-Frühstück" dazu 2 Eier im Glas und Sonnenschein pur! Herz was will man mehr, endlich konnten wir uns wieder einmal wie Menschen (vor Corona) fühlen! PS: das Café Elmer ist auch bekannt für seine Torten und Eisspezialitäten, die wir gerne bei einem anderen Besuch kosten werden. TIPP: am Samstag finden auf dem großen Platz in der Altstadt von 09.00 -14.00 Uhr der "Genussmarkt" statt, also früh auf ins Café Elmer, Frühstücken und das "Markttreiben" beobachten! Café Johann Elmer, at the lower end of the large square in the old town of the popular wine town - Retz! After the long and painful forced break caused by the corona pandemic, we took the opportunity to have an extensive breakfast in Café Elmer! It was great! Friendly service, delicious "Elmer breakfast" with 2 eggs in a glass and pure sunshine! Heart what more could you want, finally we could feel like people again (before Corona)! PS: Café Elmer is also known for its cakes and ice cream specialties, which we will be happy to try on another visit. TIP: on Saturday the "Genussmarkt" takes place on the large square in the old town from 9 am to 2 pm, so go to Café Elmer early, have breakfast and watch the market go by!
