★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Elferstein ist ein Nebengipfel des Zwoelferhorns und mindestens so Aussichtsreich. Besonders im Winter, wenn der Wanderweg aufgrund der Schneehöhe nicht begehbar ist, bietet der Elferstein eine ganz besondere Ruhe und Einsamkeit, die man ansonsten auf dem Zwoelferhorn vergeblich sucht. Empfehlenswert sind dabei Schneeschuhe, da man sich abseits der präparierten Pisten befindet.
The Elferstein is a secondary peak of the Zwoelferhorn and at least as scenic. Especially in winter, when the hiking trail is not accessible due to the depth of snow, the Elferstein offers a very special peace and solitude that you would otherwise look for in vain on the Zwoelferhorn. Snowshoes are recommended, as you are away from the groomed slopes.
