A beautiful place to take a good walk or bicycle, between birches, wetlands and riverside woods, add a rest and a swim in the lake on a sunny afternoon contemplating the cliffs of Schafberg, St Wolfgang and the clear and calm lake and you have the perfect balance.

Im Winter ist die Sonne am Nachmittag schon hinter dem Sparber. Also eher früher aufbrechen. Dauer. Ca. 1,5h. Schöne Bänke zum Ausruhen. A flat and not demanding walk in a moor-like landscape on the Wolfgangsee. Starting place: In Strobl or at the sports field Strobl. In winter, the sun is already behind Sparber in the afternoon. So start earlier. Duration. Approximately 1.5 hours. Nice benches to rest.

E	Elisabeth Ortner on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Im Naturschutzgebiet Blinklingmoos wurde das Hochmoor reanturiert. Die alten Entwässerungsgräben wurden mit Spundwänden verschlossen. Somit kann das Wasser im Hochmoor bleiben und das Moor weiter wachsen. ACHTUNG - Hochmoor nicht betreten. An manchen Stellen kann man metertief im Torf versinken! The raised moor in the Blinklingmoos nature reserve was restored. The old drainage ditches were closed with sheet pile walls. Thus the water can stay in the raised bog and the bog can continue to grow. ATTENTION - do not step on the raised bog. In some places you can sink into the peat meters deep!

Oben Schnee, herunten goldener Oktober, heller flacher Sandstrand, einladendes Wasser ca. 16 Grad... milde Abendsonne. Achtung: Es sind nur bestimmte Teile des Naturschutzgebietes zum baden und begehen frei gegeben - siehe Infotafeln entlang des gut befestigten Weges - kinderwagentauglich. Wonderful view of St. Wolfgang and the Schafberg. Snow above, golden October below, light, flat sandy beach, inviting water approx. 16 degrees ... mild evening sun. Attention: There are only certain parts of the nature reserve for swimming and walking - see information boards along the well-paved path - suitable for prams.
D	Daniel Egger on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Von Gschwendt bis Strobl erstreckt sich ein Fußweg und Fahrradweg entlang des Überlaufgebiets des Wolfgangsees. Hier fuhr zwischen 1873 - 1957 die kaiserliche Bahn bis nach Bad Ischl, davon ist leider außer einigen Bildern entlang des Weges nichts mehr zu erkennen. Dafür erlebt man viel Natur, unberührte Flecken, weitläufige Blumenwiesen und Schulgelder. Auch als eine flache Laufstrecke ist dieser Abschnitt perfekt geeignet! Und für Rastmomente gibt es ausreichend Bänke und Wipp-Liegen zum verweilen! From Gschwendt to Strobl there is a footpath and bicycle path along the overflow area of Lake Wolfgang. Between 1873 and 1957 the imperial railway traveled here to Bad Ischl, unfortunately nothing of it can be seen apart from a few pictures along the way. In return you experience a lot of nature, untouched spots, extensive flower meadows and school fees. This section is also perfect as a flat running route! And for resting moments there are enough benches and loungers to linger!
