They using just oil lamps and magnesium sticks to light inside of cave, as was used in the time when cave was dosscovered. I definitely saw more beautiful caves like this, but not so huge.

You just forget 30-40 minutes walk to the lift and back. 1.5h walk into the cold cave. 1400 steps on the stairs. All that physical efforts are as a nice background at the end! I’m really very happy that saw that place and will definitely recommend it.

Outside temper is normal like Austria temperature but inside it’s like 0 degree. Very cold but it’s very different experience which forms the ice in the caves that too very huge. Must visit place in life time
i	israel yogev on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Difficult 40 minutes uphill walk from the parking to the cave in addition to a 5 minutes cable car but it's worth every minute. The views on the way are amazing and the tour in the ice cave is wow. In the cave you have to climb 1400 steps so you should be in quite good shape
E	Expat Beard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The largest ice cave in the world, with up to 42 kilometres of depth, but the ice is only across the first kilometer. It's colder outside than inside as there's no wind inside the cave, but still a sweater and a cap are necessary. Memorable experience.

Nevertheless, the view along the way is breathtaking and worth it,, Parking lot were limited and it’s better, safer and more comfortable to keep your car downtown and go with the bus!!
