★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beim Edelrock kann man wirklich gut trinken, da sich der Ire mit dem Saufen mehr auskennt als jeder andere. Alle edle Tropfen, Biere, Whiskys, Schnäpse und Geister sind ihm nicht fremd, es ist fast so als hätte er als Baby nichts anderes getrunken. Was traurigerweise kaum jemand weiß ist, dass man bei ihm ausgezeichnet Essen kann, da er mit einer Kärtnerin verheiratet ist, die ebenfalls im Edelrock kocht, die Fische hat sie von der Fischzucht ihrer Mutter die mehrere Preise gewonnen hat. Die Speisen werden oft herzhaft garniert und sind optisch und geschmacklich einfach ein Traum. Der Grund, da wenige Leute dort essen ist, dass viele Kärntner nicht für irische Speisen offen sind und die irische Kulinarik der englischen gleichstellen. Es gibt nur eine handvoll irischer Gerichte beim Edelrock die es durchaus wert sind einmal probiert zu werden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can't get fresher fish than this. Caught every morning from their own fish farm, it's outstanding. My daughters had Irish style fish n chips and I had grilled fillet with risotto. Both were perfect. The girls loved the deserts too. They also do steaks grilled on a hot stone and always have a vegetarian option. The service from the husband and wife team is impeccable and you're really made to feel welcome. The famous Irish hospitality at work. A good selection of local and Irish beers and some fantastic Irish whiskey round the menu off perfectly. Also a great place to sit and catch the afternoon sun and watch the market life. I can't recommend the place enough.
