I	Iris Laven on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today my boyfriend and I were here for a drink at 14.00h. We were lucky apparently to have a seat in the inner garden, reading the worse comments over here. When we said we didn’t want to eat and only drink, the waitress got a bit irritated. After ordering the drinks, we wanted to play a card game. Because it was a cafe bar. This was not appreciated. Ok, fine. But it can be said nicely and not so frustrated. We are from the Netherlands and try our best to spreak German. It is more than obvious we do not speak German naturally. So when we asked and looked strangely to repeat it what she said, she got only more frustrated. We were done with the place so we wanted to pay. We waited carefully for the other waitress to ask for the bill in German. She wasn’t that friendly also and we kept waiting for 15 minutes. We went inside to the bar to pay over there. The barman asked to the waitress to get the bill and when she saw my boyfriend stood there, no smile was present. So no, we would not like to come here again and would not recommend it for other tourists. There are more friendlier people which work in cafe/restaurants in Klagenfurt.

Can recommend the local dishes Kasnudeln (Dumplings cheese-based filling) they come with a green leaf salad and quite a lot of dressing (maybe ask for less dressing, if you don't like too much dressing on your salad) and Kletzennudeln (usually ordered as a desert, dumplings filled with pair-based filling). It's always full.
