★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice cosy cabin with restaurant and accomodation. Beds are a bit Spartan, but the beer and food is quite good. The staff working here is nice and friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A perfect spot to experience Austrian mountains. A nice ride up on a great gravel road. If you want to stay for the night you may ride straight up to the inn while day guests have to hike the last 800 m.You may want to call in advance to check that out. Nice rooms, excellent food and great hospitality. You can go trout fishing in their lake or make several hikes from there.

We arrived this hütte around 7pm and had a good welcome from the hosts who then directed us to dinner.
Kitchen was still open and we got hot food. Potion sizes were excellent after long day of hike, although schnitzel was quite soggy, could have done with a better batter. Beer was good. Food prices are at the higher end, but it is fair considering the potion sizes.
Bookings were made over the phone upfront to the visit. Room was nice and clean and I am quite impressed how clean the bathrooms were. Our stay was good and slept ok. Not too many noises as you would normally get in other hüttes, especially in the mornings from keen hikers.
In the morning we met up with the hosts, paid our bills (€38/person) and had a nice quiet coffee before we departed.
Would highly recommend this hütte for food and overnight stay.
Parking available near the Hütte for €6.
