★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Angenehmer Aufstieg (Ca.1,5 Stunden) vom bodinggraben jägerhaus...familientauglich ...auch für Radfahrer sehr interessant...Stützpunkt für" 2 Gipfeltour "...alpstein und trämpl...sehr freundliche "Mitarbeiter "...schmackhaftes Essen...bei schönwetter etwas überlaufen...deswegen gleich in der früh rauf....
 Pleasant ascent (approx. 1.5 hours) from the bodinggraben jägerhaus ... family-friendly ... also very interesting for cyclists ... base for "2 summit tour" ... alpstein and trämpl ... very friendly "staff" .. . tasty food ... a bit overflowing in good weather ... that's why it goes up early in the morning ....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöne entspannte Alm, die man auch mit dem mtb erreichen darf. Speisen sehr gut, sofern man noch was kriegt. Sehr nette Wirtsleute. Aber an so einem traumhaften Tag wie heute, wo 1000 Leute kommen, kaum was anbieten zu können, ausser Butterbrot und Nudelsuppe... ist schon zaaach. Preise sehr moderat. Na logisch kommen wir wieder, werd mir aber ein kaltes schnitzel und an erdapfelsalat im Glasl mitnehmen.
Nice relaxed mountain pasture, which you can also reach with the mtb. Dine very well, if you still get something. Very nice hosts. But on such a wonderful day as today, where 1000 people come, there is hardly anything to offer, apart from bread and butter and noodle soup ... is really tough. Prices very moderate. Logically we'll be back, but I'll take a cold schnitzel and potato salad in a glass.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Endlich wieder mal. Heute etwas anderer Weg, normal Strecke wegen Holzschlägerung gesperrt. Ebenforstalm ist bis Ende Oktober geöffnet. War ein traumhaft schöner Nachmittag. Bei den super Almleutln, Sieglinde u. Erich ... und Steve... hoffe bald wieder... lieben Gruß, Rudi

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Auch hier (im Vergleich zur Anlaufalm) die Preise moderat. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Kommen wieder.
Here too (compared to the Anlaufalm) the prices are moderate. We felt very comfortable. Come again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tolle Hütte, freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Essen, große Portionen außer bei den Gams-Hirschfaschiertenleibchen. Da wäre ein 3. zum gleichen Preis erfreulich. Bestes Murauer Bier.
Great hut, friendly staff, very good food, large portions except for the chamois deer meatballs. A 3rd for the same price would be nice. Best Murauer beer.

Try the surrounding peaks or take a tour from the starting point Bodinggraben and Alpstein

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ All perfect: owner lady, new rooms, 30 EUR for overnight stay with breakfast, new (!) rooms, beds, bedsheets and blanket included. Breakfast was ok though: tea/coffee with bread and different tasty jams. The shower is there outside and clean! Two toilets outside. We've spent there two nights and day because of rain and felt like home. There are 12-bed room, separate 4-bed room with electric sockets, 2-bed room, hallway room on the picture included with 6 beds. The window is controlled by a remote.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most beautiful places i have ever been to. Its truly magical. Even thought you have to climb very high and it can be chalenging, the view really pays of. Owners are very friendly and willing to help you with anything. There’s hot shower and electricity. I highly recommend the knedle soupe. It was delicious! If you are in Kalkalpen, you have to visit Ebenforstalm!!
