Sehr sauber (auch die trocken Toilette), nette Feuerstelle, jedoch macht es für mich keinen Sinn dort hin zu wandern, solange Leute mit dem Auto bis zum Biwakplatz fahren dürfen um dort mit ein paar Kistenbier zu feiern. Casual bivouac place. Very clean (also the dry toilet), nice fireplace, but it doesn't make sense for me to hike there as long as people are allowed to drive to the bivouac to celebrate with a few crate of beer.

Feuerholz selber hacken, im Bach waschen und einfach nur Natur genießen. Bitte Leute: nehmt euren Müll wieder mit, verbrennt nichts ausser Holz im Feuer und macht keine Gelage. Es wäre schade um diese Möglichkeit in der Natur zu leben Should I not post at all, otherwise it will soon overflow. Tent, sleeping bag, take your food and go hiking. Chop firewood yourself, wash it in the stream and just enjoy nature. Please people: take your garbage with you, burn nothing but wood in the fire and do not feast. e	ernst tragl on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine von 2 Möglichkeiten legal im Nationalpark Kalkalpen zu übernachten, Infrastruktur ist sehr gut. Auch in der Nebensaison und unter der Woche ist man bei Schönwetter nicht alleine. Obwohl der Bach von vielen auch zum Trinken genutzt wird - ich natürlich auch - ließen andere Besucher glatt ihren Hund drin baden unmittelbar am Zeltplatz. One of two possibilities to legally stay overnight in the Kalkalpen National Park, the infrastructure is very good. Even in the off-season and during the week you are not alone in good weather. Although the stream is also used by many for drinking - me too, of course - other visitors let their dog bathe in it directly at the campsite.
S	Stefan Kaar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vom Parkplatz Schwarzgraben ging es auf dem Wanderweg der Krummen Steyrling entlang in Richtung Windischgarsten. Das Ziel der Tour war der Biwakplatz Steyrsteg. Im Herzen vom Nationalpark Kalkalpen ist es im Herbst besonders schön und die Natur lässt sich dann Hautnah erleben. Es war sehr entspannende Wanderung. Der Hin- und Rückweg waren jeweils fabelhaft. Resümee zum Biwagplatz: Genügend Trockenes Holz für die Feuerstelle und auch ein Feuerlöscher zur Sicherheit vorhanden. Das WC ist sauber. Die Umgebung wirkt ebenfalls sehr gepflegt. From the parking Schwarzgraben it went on the trail of the Krummen Steyrling along Windischgarsten. The goal of the tour was the bivouac Steyrsteg. In the heart of the Kalkalpen National Park, it is especially beautiful in autumn and nature can then be experienced up close. It was a very relaxing hike. The round trip were each fabulous. Summary to the bivouac: Enough dry wood for the fireplace and also a fire extinguisher for safety. The toilet is clean. The environment is also very well maintained.

B	Bruno Pepernik on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice a quiet place to stay. We’ve stayed for two nights which is max you can a did very easy trip to Schaumbergalm. This place was clean and easy to reach from nearest parkingplace (3,5 km) I can only recommend and wish to visit this biwakplatz again.
