Very cute. It is ideal to sit on one of the benches in front of her and have some coffee or tea while looking at the landscape.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Die große Zisterne ist schön, aber nichts außergewöhnlich, leider kleine Enttäuschung. Zisterne ist schmutzig und leider nicht gepflegt... schade...Toller Platz für kurze Erholung (Bänke). Park in der Nähe (klein). Hier brauchen wir nur ein paar Minuten für Fotos und man kann weiter spazieren... Auf jeden Fall sehenswert...
The big cistern is nice, but nothing extraordinary, unfortunately little disappointment. Cistern is dirty and unfortunately not maintained ... too bad ... Great place for short rest (benches). Park nearby (small). Here we only need a few minutes for photos and you can continue walking ... Definitely worth seeing ...

The well was built by Dominico dell’Allio from plans by Lazarus von Scheendi, between 1544 and 1547. It is one of the largest constructions of this kind with five 3.6 m diameter shafts arranged in a circle in the 16 meter deep basin. The rainwater ducted from the surrounding rooftops was filtered and collected in the connected shafts. In 1897 the well canopy as seen today was added to the stone well casing dating from 1739.
