I stayed here in December 2018 and explored the surrounding mountains for hiking and skiing but Mauterndorf as a small market town is also charming to visit. David Appartments offered a spotless and modern place to stay, comfortable and homely in all respects. Michael our hosts was genuine, friendly and attentive to all details, always available for a good chat and a drink. I would return without hesitation to the same place to continue to explore the region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect location for holidays. We were there winter and last summer as well. Friendly and dedicated host. I liked the kitchen, you find there the most important things for cooking. Will be coming back for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To my disappointment after booking 5 rooms for ski holiday the host canceled the bookings and now advertise it for more money on his website. So please don't be surprised when your booking will be canceled if host will decide that he'll manage to squeeze more EUR out of it.
Turned out host is a complete liar and a fraud...I was ignored when tried to contact him asking more information about the cancelation reason...He played the system well I must give a credit for that ...as a proof of his lies attaching booking price below that was canceled for around 1000eur and same apartment for same days advertised on his website now for 2500eur. I don't think I need to say anything else.
I would not recommend this fraud, please be aware.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came here first time in summer 2015 and I’ve been returning at least once a year ever since. The apartments are spacious and very tidy and the kitchen have about everything you will need to cook your own meal. When staying for longer than a few days, you immediately feel at home in these cozy decorated apartments in this beautiful village. The reception by Michael or Grete is wonderful. I hope I can come here for many more years to come.
