We ware in the bar just for a drink. We ordered Aperol and tequila Gold Olmeca. Aperol for 7.50€ and Olmeca was on the bill as whisky for 10.50€ and barman said, that it is the same price. The most expensive bar I have ever seen. Tomislav from Prague

The Hotel "Das Regina" is a boutique hotel in the centre of Bad Gastein, just a 2-minute walk away from the casino and the waterfall. "Das Regina" offers individually designed rooms & most rooms have a balcony or a terrace and offer panoramic views of the nearby mountains. The food is outstanding and the hotel very has a small cinema. Love it, will return!

A Pretty Place That Resonates Beauty and Comfort! This place is such a gem! I travel for a living - with musicians, and artists and for well known travel guides, and was recommended to stay at the REGINA by various friends from within the Berlin artist community. Upon check-in you realize that the people running this little boutique hotel stand very much behind the idea of "DO WHAT YOU LOVE", as every detail from breakfast variety, to music played, to the cozy seating design, to bed linen, to wallpaper, to DVD selection, to magazines are so well thought through and so well curated. A sweet mix of vintage and modern! Dinner was outstanding! So were some of the longer nights at the bar ;) There is a sweet little movie theatre with 10 seats or so. They played "Grand Budapest Hotel" - which is just the perfect movie for the incredible fairytale town of Bad Gastein. I have so fallen in love with this town, its inspiring vibe and scene and I wish Olaf and Jason all the best and for their little hotel to prosper!

We were properly looked after by Gigi, he was conversational, polite and skilled at his job, cocktails were beautiful and his wine suggestions were unbiased. From our two or so hours here, the Regina is a smooth class act, bit out of place in the major cities of Europe, let alone gorgeous little Bad Gastien.

Only visited the restaurant. The food and drinks were fine. Though more expensive than the other places we visited in our trip to Bad Gastein. 42€ for Mains and one drink - 2 persons. The atmosphere and decor was good and the view was nice, and must be astonishing in the daytime. The food was a tad slow to stribe, so if we had not enternained ourselves the fast drinks would have let to several drinks before our food arrived.

We went to the Regina only for dinner and drinks. It's one of those old Bad Gastein places that's been taken over by younger entrepreneurs to revive the old town. We really enjoyed the restaurant serving great food (mostly pasta dishes) and wines with a very friendly service. The bar was mixed. While the list of drinks was promising, the cocktails were too watered down and quite pricey. Otherwise it's a beautiful place with a fantastic view across the valley. Will come back to actually stay in the hotel.

We were so pleased to have found the Regina Hotel. We rang for a last-minute reservation and we're welcomed by the young, hip, polite staff. The restaurant has private parking, an amazing view and is very tastefully decorated. We picked the tuna tataki one night, and the beef on polenta the next night. It was gorgeous. They make a fantastic cup of coffee, but to top it all off: We spotted a tiny cinema and we were graciously invited to make use of it. We were allowed to pick a movie, bring snacks, and make ourselves at home in their tiny 12-person cinema for a private cinema night. It was one of the most romantic evenings we had ever had. Thank you Hotel Regina and staff for this beautiful experience.

Very nice, family owned boutique hotel five walk minutes away from the waterfall in Bad Gastein. We visited the hotel for a drink but the owner took the time to have a little chit chat with us and showed us around. Very nice bar, lobby and clean bathrooms. We also really liked the way the hotel is designed and decorated, though it was already off season.
