Da sich meine Bundesheersocken aus dem GWD langsam auflösen, wollte ich schauen ob diese im Shop verkauft werden - dem ist leider nicht so, es werden "keine Ausrüstungsgegenstände" verkauft - schade, aber verständlich. The armed forces present were very friendly and helpful. Since my army socks from the GWD are slowly dissolving, I wanted to see if they were being sold in the shop - unfortunately this is not the case, "no equipment" is being sold - a shame, but understandable.

Eigentlich wollte ich mir erstmal nur einen Termin für das Gespräch ausmachen, da allerdings gerade nicht viel los war, nahm mich der Herr sofort beiseite und beriet mich sehr kompetent und effizient. Er hat sofort meine Daten gecheckt (via Sozialversicherungsnummer), gab mir Empfehlungen zum potenziellen Einstieg und ging auf meine Detailfragen ein. Am Ende bekam ich noch ein Info-Heft zum durchlesen mit. Mit einem so positiven Gefühl wieder aus den Checkpoint hinaus zu gehen, hat mich umso mehr ermutigt, mich beim Bundesheer zu "bewerben". TipTop! Last month I had a counseling session with a lieutenant on officer training. Actually, I just wanted to make an appointment for the conversation first, but since there wasn't much going on at the moment, the gentleman immediately took me aside and advised me very competently and efficiently. He immediately checked my data (via social security number), gave me recommendations on how to get started and answered my detailed questions. At the end I got an information booklet to read through. Leaving the checkpoint with such a positive feeling encouraged me all the more to "apply" to the armed forces. TipTop!

Das Gespräch war aufschlussreich und meine Fragen konnten gut beantwortet werden. Had toyed with the idea of going to the checkpoint for an information session for a long time. Was nearby and there at short notice. The interview was informative and my questions were answered well.
