★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unprofessional and unreliable! Think twice before booking this location. We would avoid using the burg as a venue.
We were planning on having our wedding at the Burg. All the details, except for the caterer, were set in stone, including all of our out of town and out of the country guests having rooms booked near the Burg.
Two months before our wedding, Mischa cancelled our wedding after we made a suggestion to use a different caterer. Of Her caterers (four choices only), two were booked, one was out of the question and the other was unimpressive. The one we wanted lied to us when he said he was free to work our wedding, and he made us wait a month before saying he took a different, bigger customer. Mischa blamed us for waiting too long when we literally were delayed a month by her preferred caterer that lied to us delaying everything.
If you want your event to be canceled very last minute, then book the burg. Mischa added so much stress to our lives, when planning a wedding is already stressful enough. Having spoken to other local Austrians, she is known to be a difficult person. Avoid the Burg at all costs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very interesting tour with local explaining history of region and role of castle for local community. Castle is small and waits for restoration but story told by local guide gives deep insight why. Definitely worth to visit.
