Decent food, quite expensive. The menu said the tip is not included in the bill, but in our bill the waitress added 10% to the total.

We stopped here to get coffee to go (as stated on a sign on their door). After waiting around for a while to be serviced, we said to the person behind the counter we wanted coffee to go, to which she replied “I don’t have time for that”. Incredibly rude!!! Wouldn’t recommend this place.

HELP PLEASE! Lost photography gloves (November 2019) My partner and I had a pleasant dinner at Cafe Opernring on Monday, November 25th. However, I left a pair of treasured pair of photography gloves (size small, black, the index fingers and thumb tips are removable with magnet connections, with zippers above each wrist). I had to leave Vienna before I could retrieve them (and the staff couldn’t / wouldn’t speak English on the phone), and I’m hoping that a fellow traveler might be able to help me out. If you are able to retrieve the gloves, please take a photo and send it to me at kinojay33 at yahoo dot com, and I would be happy to pay shipping costs immediately as well as provide a $50 reward upon receipt of the gloves. Thank you!! Jay

Super rude people, crazy expensive. Scammy attitude (asked for an espresso, they brought me a double espresso priced 4.60 euros). Also: every person at the table is forced to order something. Check other reviews on Yelp/TripAdvisor for similar stories. BTW, there is a great place next to it where you can get coffee (and also eat).

Totally overpriced! 4,50 € for a chamomile tea. If I didn't need to breastfeed my crying kid urgently, I would have left immediately. Waitress was helpful and kind though.

We ordered 3 big dishes for 4 people to share because it is late afternoon and we wanted some snacks only, the lady was very rude when she heard that. They only provided 3 sets of cutlery and said they would charge extra for other set. So ridiculous!!! How come you do not provide cutlery for each customer? Food is so so with terrible service. Don’t recommend at all.

Horrible place, overpriced for the street quality food offered and not a restaurant at all. 1.5€ for a spoon of mayonnaise, counted fries with fingers, and would be lucky if you get a big proportion of schnitzel because they serve rations as they please. Even for a coffee wouldn't stop in there again.

Very convenient, easy parking in the underground garage and you can walk under cover from car park straight into cafe without getting rained on. Directly opposite Opera house. Good coffee and cakes. You can have a full lunch or just a snack. Comfortable seating with good views outside. They also have outside seating with full views of the main street an Opera house. I'm sure this will be really nice in the summer, drinking and eating cake whilst watching the World pass by.
