★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was ok. could go bad as well. Service was better then ok, but food quality is just ok. If you are not starving and if you are not dying to drink something i would not suggest this place but as i said because of service and smiling faces below 3 stars would be unfair.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This café has a long tradition. Its location is exquisite, close to the park of the Imperial Castle Schönbrunn. In the warm season, when you can sit outdoors in the pretty guest garden, you can see the old church of Hietzing and the monument of Emperor Maximilian of Mexico who was a member of the Imperial family of Habsburg but suffered a tragic fate in Mexico where he was captured by the rebels under Juarez and executed, together with his wife.
I have been a regular guest in this traditional café for decades already. Meanwhile, the ownership changed twice, but it is still a nice place, which I can recommend to tourists who want to make a break during their sightseeing tour at Schönbrunn and enjoy a good Viennese coffee or a glass of good wine or a beer. Pastry is also offered there, and hungry guests can even order a meal.
Closes at 7 p.m. in the evening.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I hope I'll never have to come back. Although the service, coffee and cake were "appropriate", the place itself is dirty and oldish. The setas and the walls are scratched and stained. If I want to have coffee once again in that area I would check better and most likely go to Aida, which is nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked this place. It felt like we were mixing with the locals, with some very quirky table service .. food and drink was good and reasonably priced. Architecture/ ambience makes this a place well worth a visit

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ok...so I guess is not fair to label your whole place due to your waitress poor and low attitude.The way she looks,talks and handles costumers is low.(being tourists from another country is not an excuse for us not to have our kids covid test,it was one day expired/serioussly)but the satisfaction than she had when si said:O!,is expired,I can not serve you,You have to leave.Bye bye...All of that in about 4 seconds...you be the judge of that.I wish you were there instead of us...so you can feel what and how we felt.(not welcomed at all.And this business is about that also...not only food) I have been in this industry for more than 25 years and I know exactly what I"m saying.I run a restaurant with 30 employees and a capacity of 300.And yes...the patio was full of old people so maybe having 4 kids with us was not ok for the overall vibe.
So...I guess...it will stay one star for your server and for the rest unfortunattely I can't say...because we didn't get the chance.(another restaurant on the block took care of us)
