Best Cafe in austria

W	Woojin JEONG (Eugene) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was on the Sound of Music Tour and was directed to this place as serving the best apple strudel in town. Apple strudel itself was not that bad. However the staff were very rude. We were party of four. The staff initially brought two set of forks - we requested for two more and the staff brought us one more. When I asked him for another he spet out some words in German which I coud not understand. When we were about to leave we had to wait for a very long time to get attention from the staff in order to pay the bills. Because of that we did not have enough time to enjoy the town nor the lake. We regret having chosen this place and will never come back in the future and will not recommend this place to anyone.

D	Dave B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exceptionally rude service even by European standards. Baked goods were very mediocre. Shorted us a small amount of change hoping we wouldn’t notice. Recommended by tour bus drivers personably because they give them free lunch (they were all eating in there)

S	Stephanie Swain on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This cafe is located in a tourist-heavy area, so expect busy wait staff and all that goes with it. But we thought it was so worth it for the delicious breakfast. The bacon and eggs, bread rolls and strudel were exceptionally tasty! Note it’s cash only
B	Benjamin Lau on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brought here whilst on a Sound of Music tour wherein the guide claims they sell the best coffee and apple strudel. In retrospect felt like it was a tourist trap. Whilst the food was OK, not the best I had but ok, the service was something you'll need to exercise forgiveness. For some reason both ladies seemed like they were ready to bite on anyone who would be so unlucky to go near them. The face was extremely "black". The man behind the counter was much better greeting anyone that stepped in. Then I'm not sure if it's an Austrian thing to having buzzing bees within the section where they display their cakes but they were flying around and landing on the cakes so much so that it really turned me off as a hygiene hazard. I would like say it's OK to just have a drink or cake if the above doesn't bother you but otherwise feel free to wander around and check out the other cafés.
