The place is new and very clean. I would have liked to have given 5 stars, but I find it strange that cleaning and vacuuming is carried out next to the customers at 6:00 p.m. You should be able to enjoy your time in the restaurant until 7 p.m. (the official opening time). I didn't feel welcome and won't be going back anytime soon.

What was a terrific visit to this wonderful café for breakfast? We were looking for a delicious and extensive breakfast in Graz and found this wonderfully decorated café. Delicious homemade jams, hand-rolled rolls, fresh bread, deliciously fragrant coffee and super hot chocolate - with freshly squeezed orange juice and the best water (on ice). Several types of ham and cheese awaited us as dishes, salmon with fresh horseradish, cucumber and tomato. In advance we were asked about our wishes (I've never experienced that before!) Great! The food was more than just delicious. Coupled with great background music that didn't seem intrusive, nice other guests with whom we spoke, we also received a well-founded recommendation from the owner - even the newspapers were handed to us. We were also allowed to try delicacies that were absolutely delicious. Thanks! The visit was really extraordinary and the flair was terrific. Nice how you could feel the hospitality - keep it up! The toilets were very clean and the ambience was well furnished. We can only recommend the café. Go there, feel good, relaxed, have a chat and enjoy the food and drinks alone or together. Simply great service and a great selection.

the tea (bio-eco) and cake (home-made) were reasonably priced and fantastic. unfortunately the owner's/waitress's attitude was less so. I ordered, set up my computer, bolstered myself with the yummy goodness, put my headphones in and got to work. Less than two hours in as she came to ask me for the second time if I wanted anything else and I replied no thanks, she side-eyed me, mumbled something and pointedly checked her watch. I got the message, packed up, paid and left. And I won't be back to cramp their a e s t h e t i c (or whatever bothered her on me) again for all the tea in china and cake in austria.

Absolutely beautiful, family run cafe with perfect coffee and great home-made food. It feels just like being in your friend's living room. There is a sense of mutual feeling with other customers that we are all being looked after. Would go there every day if I can.

The Café Frohsinn is a really nice and cosy coffee shop with a light and bright atmosphere and homemade pastries ranging from tarts like chocolate, chestnut, and coffee cream with a meringue as well as all kinds of cakes. The delicacies offered here are very delicious and look that way as well. It is sensible that the products are home-made and comes from the heart. The staff is very friendly and willing to help and there are many plugs to charge your devices here at the Café Frohsinn. This coffee shop's name 'Frohsinn' corresponds with my basic mood, since the German term 'Frohsinn' is 'glee' or 'cheerfulness'. So here at this cheerful café, everything seems to be in balance and at the right place, and its location in the lovely neighborhood of Geidorf with its many well-restored buildings from the late decades of the Austrian-Hungarian Empire around the turn of the century, makes it easy to reach from most parts of the city. And if coffee, cakes and tarts is not your thing, you also can have some snacks such as toasts and the like here at the Café Frohsinn. So, although I mentioned it before, it is quite hard to find a good combination of nice atmosphere to have a seat in and a variety of delicious home-made pastries, tarts and cakes, the Café Frohsinn simply makes it happen. I had a Café Verlängerter and a slice of the home-made Linzertorte, by the way quite a famous product in Austria and beyond, with a portion of whipped cream. What a great combination!
