★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was going to sit down until I saw the kitchen and public area. Complete mess. Completely understaffed. I just got a coffee to go and left as soon as possible. Hard to believe this is Austria.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It‘s a bakery chain, very good stuff, and even though it‘s missing the „family touch“ of the smaller bakeries, everything still tastes great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Sorger at Südtirolerplatz, as part of the Sorger bakery chain in Graz with a long tradition ranging back to 1688, is a modern-style place with a patio at Südtirolerplatz, with a variety of delicacies of the Austrian Pastry World, and a comfy seating area with a large glass front towards the patio, meaning it is quite a bright place to sit inside the Sorger as well.
The delicacies here at the Sorger, are from the own bakery, range from pastries, tarts to various filled sandwiches and croissants. In general the staff is friendly and the interior is quite stylish, meaning nice to look at. The "waved wall" is a nice feature of this place and looks dynamic, giving this place a distinct note, here at the Sorger at Südtirolerplatz, close to the Kunsthaus Graz, the Friendly Alien, as it is also called. From here you will easily reach every place in the Old Town, since the Sorger at Südtirolerplatz is part of the artsy part of the Western part of the Old Town. I had a yummy Honigreingerl (Kärntner Reingerl) filled with honey with a Verlängerter Coffee.
From Graz with Love!
