★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Erstmals urkundlich erwähnt wurde die Burg im Zusammenhang mit den Herren von Weyer. Als Besitzer werden Rapoto de Wiare (1130), Chunrad (1150), Haimo (1160) und Berthold (1169) genannt. Um 1270 scheint das Bistum Chiemsee in den Besitz der Burg gekommen zu sein.
The castle was first mentioned in a document in connection with the Lords of Weyer. Rapoto de Wiare (1130), Chunrad (1150), Haimo (1160) and Berthold (1169) are named as owners. The Chiemsee diocese seems to have taken possession of the castle around 1270.
